I just applied for Medicaid/CHIP and I'm looking at the different Health Plans, Amerigroup, Cook Children's Health Plan, and Aetna. Which one should I choose? What plan do you have and why did you choose it. Hope this helps narrow it down! Thanks :)

I have had my grand daughters on the Cook Childrens plan for a few years. The doctors are great and you can use all of the Cook Childrens urgent care and ohter clinics which are located in many different areas. The Staff with CHIP is allways helpful and nice to deal with. Be patient the approval process can take time just be sure to send in all the documents they ask for.
We have had this for years and were with Amerigroup and then changed to Cook Childrens Health plan and it has been a god send. All cook childrens offers is available to you. I wouldn't have it any other way. Good luck.
We have had CCHP (Cook's Childrens) for our son for 4 years. I have never had a problem and have been very satisfied with the benefits and services they provide. I love having clear access to the Cook's Children's Hospital and Urgent Care Network of facilities. The big difference I have seen in the plans is the doctor's and hospital network. For this reason, I stick with Cooks.
