Christy J. is right on the mark.
You cannot spot reduce - it just isn't possible! You can do a million crunches but if you don't address the issue with cardio and nutrition, you'll wind up with a six-pack abs of steel that is well-insulated and protected.
The best way is to make sure you are paying attention to your eating. The concept of 'clean eating' would be especially helpful. It isn't some goofy diet where you take dangerous supplements, omit entire categories of food, and starve yourself. It is eating good, healthy food that will do wonders for your body. Google Tosca Reno and Clean Eating and you'll find a lot of information.
The other thing you should do is focus on is cardio. You do not have to spend hours on end with cardio. 30-45 minutes 5 days a week is sufficient. Make sure you're working up a sweat and really challenging yourself in intervals (go fast for a bit then slow down, repeat for the workout).
Finally - avoid any fad diet, fad diet products, meal replacements or shakes, cleanses, pills, or any other plan that you won't be adopting for a lifetime. Weight loss and body management is a lifelong commitment and taking pills, using shakes, cutting out entire categories of food are dangerous options to continue for a lifetime.
