Does anyone have a great solution for washing windows....I am not fond of using a store bought spray. Would like to wash my windows before the winter weather sets in.
Thanks for your help:)

Plain old vineger and water in a spray bottle and for the best way to wipe them off, recycle your newspapers and save money to dry the windows after you spray and you will have the cleanest windows in the neighborhood.
Good luck and hope this helps.

I use a solution of vinegar and water. Works great.

About a cup of vinegar to a gallon of water.
Use one rag to wash them and a dry, clear rag to dry them.

I'm doing hte same thing. I use a mix of vinegar and water for the cleaning solution and use newspaper to wipe clean rather than papertowel. It really does work best. Happy clenaing.

I like to use vinegar and water. I just mix it half and half and put into a spray bottle. It works great and doesn't leave residue like store bought spray can. The smell of the vinegar goes away as soon as it dries.
