I recently joined a mom's group in Macomb.. it's AMAZING with activities every day.. only problem is that they are so far from my house. So it got me thinking that maybe there are groups closer to me that I could get involved in. I have an almost 2 1/2 year old son and am looking to a group that has activities we can do together during the day. Anyone know of groups out there! I'm in Rochester Hills.. so Troy, Rochester, Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills..

I am a licensed child care provider in Novi area and we get some of our information about play groups from Oakland schools. They email you with info about local play groups which are free for most of the times. Maybe you can look into it. here is the e-mail just send them a email requesting information for your area...

I live in Rochester Hills as well and there really isn't a lot that I've found(as I don't really want to pay to join a mom's group!).
There is one at Oak Arbor Church that meets on Wednesday mornings. They are up around the border of Oakland Township/Rochester Hills.
The one that I've started going to is in Royal Oak/Clawson area and they meet at the Y @ Crooks/Normandy. We get together on Thursday mornings. We have a page on meetup and facebook.
If you find something closer to the Rochester Hills area, then I'd really love to hear about it too!
There is a Moms Club chapter in Rochester - meets once a month at the first congrgational church in Rochester (on Pine). Depends where you live as to what day to attend. Check the national website online for contact details or try anne on ###-###-####. they have moms nights out, playgroups and other fun stuff to do
