I have a 21, 20, and 17 year old. I am now a foster mom of a 1 1/2 year old. So I don't think age matters!!! WELCOME!!!! TEENAGERS - HARDEST JOB EVER
Is this a forum for mom's with little ones only?
I've received over 20 responses from parents of teens and almost teens - I'll continue checking this site to lend what (hard learned) experience I have to any that have questions of what I've been through (and am going through!!) and will look to this site if I have a question as well - other than where's that glass of wine at the end of the day!! ;-)

No, this site caters to all age groups and situations. I have a 27,26, & 24 year old. I also have six grandchildren ranging in ages from 3 yrs to 8 yrs.
Hi, you are not alone here, I have three teens. 17, 15, and 13.
=)
I think if you're a mom, have a mom, know a mom, or want to be a mom....everyone's welcome
I have teenagers M. - my youngest is 17
No, it is not. Some mothers here have grandchildren, though much of the content here is geared toward mothers with young children. I have read the advice of mothers with older children to those of us who have youngsters.
Welcome to this site.
Amy
M.,
This forum is for all "mom"s. I to have older children and it is wonderful to have another mom within the age group of my girls. 24,19,17.
We are here to help out the new mom's (from experience) and they to can help us out with our situtations. Nice to have another mom with the older children seeing as it does not ever get any easier.
Love our children, kisses and hugs all the time, they grow up so fast.

My youngest is 14 year old girl, 16 year old son and a 23 year old son. I also have little one's in the day care that are like my own.
M.,
I received your note in the daily digest in my email and tried to locate it in the mamasource website; because I was insterest in how many hits you received. It seems to be that way, However, I'm responding because I too have teenagers. My son is 19, my daughter is 17, my third son is 11.
So we are out there!

I believe that this forum is for moms - regardless of the age of their children. Moms with older children have the experience of going through each of the stages of their children's development and have a different and valuable perspective, I think. By the way, my kids are 17, 10, 4 and 4 (twins).
NO. I think mothers with little ones just have more questions and concerns.
This site was passed on to me from my single, non-parent cousin, because she receives alot of good and helpful ideas and she thought I would like it too. I have a 10 year old daughter and an 11 year old son. Between my husband and I we have 21 nieces and nephews ranging from 4 to 39. 15 of them are under 21, and 5 are under 25. The 39 year old we don't really count (lol) which is a step nephew and is as old as I am and we don't see him. (6 out of the 21 are step children) In about a week I will be a Great Aunt for the first time from my 20 year old nephew.
HI M.
I was wondering the same thing.
I have a pubescent son (just turned 13 ---yikes!!!!!) I'm a single Mom as well. Anyone know of any sites specifici to this?
I have an 18 yr old and I still read this. I have seen some questions on older kids.
Hi M.,
No this isn't just for mothers of little one's. My youngest is 17 and a handfull at that! He thinks he's an adult because he drives. He's into girls and cars instead of focusing on school. He thinks he knows everything. Sound familiar? The only good advice I can tell you is to stick to your guns when it comes to your rules and make sure he realizes that he has consequences for his actions whether good or bad. Prepare him/her to be on his or her own. Such as teaching them to cook, do their own laundry, and make good sound judgements when entering into relationships and especially business deals. You know buying a car or house.
I don't know if advice was what you were looking for. If not I hope I made you feel a lot less alone. I'm soon to be an empty nester too!
Good Luck and god bless.

I have four kids ages 4-12. I am happy to hear all ages can be addressed on this site. My 12 year old son is changing fast and I am crabby!

I think it would be great if moms with older ones would use this site. All of us with younger ones can never be too prepared for those teenage years !! Please tell all the moms you know with teenagers about this site !! Once a mom always a mom no matter how old your kids are !
I don't think so. Most of the posts I've seen have been for moms with little ones. I figure either that's because those of us with big ones either have everything figured out (LOL) or we're starting to believe our big kids that we just don't know anything (more LOL)!!!
M.
No some of us as they said have older kids.
I have kids ages 32,28,25 and my youngest is 15. I also have
4 grand children and toddlers in my daycare so everyone has all sorts of questions and great responses.

Everyone is on this site, if you are a mom period. Teenagers, little ones, grandchildren, etc. I have had people respond to me who are not even moms, but have a wealth of insight in your particular situation. Welcome :)
No not at all.
