Which do you use for tuna salad sandwich? Mayo and I have a certain understanding, I hate it and it hates me...so I use mustard. :)

What can I do next?

LOL!! I love Mayo!!! I make my tuna salad sandwich like this:

One or two cans of tuna - drained
sweet or dill relish - depends upon my mood
2 stalks of celery finely chopped
1 or 2 hard boiled eggs
ABOUT tablespoon of mayo
ABOUT tablespoon of Guldens Mustard
salt and pepper to taste...
mix and put on toasted bread or lettuce leaf!! Eat and enjoy!!!

Mustard for burgers and hot dogs. I hate mustard in tuna or potato salad. Has to be mayo for me!

We are a Mayo family and it has to be Hellman's.

I am the only one of the 3 of us that eats tuna salad. I just drain the tuna, add some chopped pickles, a touch of lemon juice and mayo.

I like mustard, never thought about adding it to tuna salad as well. I might try it with both. Can't go without my mayo!

Mustard is good in a tuna salad sandwich? I prefer mustard over mayo any day of the week but I have never heard of that. Do you mix it in the tuna instead of the mayo?---and it actually tastes good? hmm...

Mostly Miracle Whip, with a tablespoon or two of mustard mixed in. I have never heard of not using mayo and using mustard only, don't get me wrong I like mustard (especially spicy) but only in a tuna? yuck!.

chopped celery
chopped olives
chopped pickles
chopped grapes (optional, great in chicken salad)
chopped tomatoes (my husband does this, I'm not a fan)
hard boiled egg
salt and pepper
mayo
mustard

I use both. My wife only uses mayo. I use the spicy brown mustard if I have it on hand.

Good luck to you and yours.

No one in my family likes Mayo, except my son who only likes a small amount. Only 3 of 5 of us like mustard. And none of use like tuna! haha!
But if I make a chicken salad, etc - I substitute plain greek yogurt (super healthy for you) or ranch dressing (not healthy at all!).

I use both, plus some horseradish and sometimes a dab of hot sauce, or maybe relish. I also like onions and/or celery chopped up small in it. On toast. Mmmm. OK, I have to go now to make a tuna salad sandwich :)

I actually use both mayo (not Miracle Whip) and a bit of brown mustard - can't stand the yellow stuff.

Funny thing is, in the UK we never EVER put mayo in our sandwiches, we use butter. So I am a mustard person, mayo is just wrong to me.

Both! More mayo than mustard. And like another suggested, spicy brown is good, too.
