Y.D.
My daughter is 6 and is wearing a size ten already. It was the only size that fit her tummy, so we took them to the cleaners and had them hemmed.
I am having the hardest time finding pants, jeans, ANYTHING that's NOT ELASTIC to fit my little girl. She is 4 years old, weighs 75 lbs and is 52 inches tall. I feel terrible for her because she is so much bigger then her friends, but i am a size 14 myself and her father is 6 ft, 7 in tall so she is from a larger gene line. I need someone to PLEASE give me advice on where i can find bottoms that WILL Fit her Comfortably and NOT TO MATURE for her age. I AM DESPERATE and Its Getting COLD!!! HELP ME PLEASE ANYONE!!!!!!!!
So first I want to Thank all of you for answering my question so fast. Most of you guys told me to check out Land's End, unfortunately the Sear's in my home town Doesn't carry this brand in their store. However I did check out their online store and was floored at how much they had to choose from and how cute the fashions are. I did order her 4 pair of pants in 2 sizes each just in-case. Another mom suggested getting them in the size she needed and have them hemmed which is what I will have to do regardless. Again, I want to Thank ALL of You for the Great Advice... I will keep you posted as soon as I find a pair that fits perfect.

Try LandsEnd.com. Our son uses their slim-sized clothes but I also know they carry plus sizes for kids, too. Their styles are conservative and should be completely appropriate for her age.
Children's Place? But most pants for her age group will still be elastic. My son is also 4 and is just now in "big boy" clothes and they still have elastic in his size.
Lands End sells Husky sizes in all their kids pants, I believe. I think that's what you're asking for, right? A looser fitting pant, that is not necessarily elastic waisted? (I can't tell from her height/weight if she's like an average 6 or 7 year old, or if she's a little fuller in the middle, creating your problem finding pants without elastic waists that fit. I'm assuming this is the case... if it's not, I don't mean to offend. I'm just not that good at the height/weight thing.) The nice thing about Lands End, is that you can return items that may not fit to your local Sears store and not pay additional shipping.
Also, Old Navy sells all their girls jeans/pants in Slim, Regular, and Plus size cuts. It looks like the plus sizes are primarily different in the waist. They give you a size chart, so you'd have to simply measure your daughter to see what size she most closely matches, and try that. You'd probably have to order these online, as I doubt they'd have the complete selection in the store, but they may. Either way, you could still return anything that didn't fit to the store and not pay extra shipping. If she seems to be between sizes, I'd buy both sizes to pay shipping only once, and take what doesn't fit back to the store.

Also, I know you asked about pants other than those with elastic waists, but leggings might be a great alternative for your daughter, since they do have some give to them, and can be bought a little bigger if necessary, and just scrunched at the ankles if they're a little long. They're super comfortable, and are really in fashion now!
Best wishes finding something for your precious little girl!
How about JC Penney? They have a large kids section , Sears is also quite good for kids. Don't have any actual recs for you as I have the complete opposite issue with my kids.
Hope you find something
Land's End has a nice selection.
You should try Hannah Anderson. They have really cute girl's clothes in a wide variety of sizes. Garnet Hill and The Company Store do also. Most 4 year old clothing does involve elastic waistbands though -at least in the back of pants, so I wouldn't be too disturbed about that. My son is 4 and wears a 5 or 5T pants, and almost all of them have elastic in the back. So is she the size of an average 6 or 7 year old? I would think you would still be able to find things at department stores like Macy's, Dillards, Belks, JCPenney, etc. I have major issues with dressing little girls like teenagers and tarts, but so do a lot of others, and I've seen really nice little girl clothing at those stores and at places like Gap Kids, Gymboree and The Children's Place. I would think anything truly appropriate for a 6 or 7 year old would also be appropriate for a 4 year old.
I was a chunky kid and my mother had the same problem but I was short. We always went to Sears. They have like 1/2 sizes. Hope this helps or maybe get someone to make her some pants.
