"All Ready for School!"
"School Gear"
It's not the kids who need to be attracted to it - it's the moms - they are the ones with the money to spend and who do the shopping.
Mama's I am starting a small business and will selling unique/custom made school merchandise (apparel, lunch totes, ribbon, blankets, sleep mats, bags, etc) catered to daycares, preschools-high school.
The only thing I am missing is the "NAME" to brand my lil business venture. Your ideas are much, much appreciated. I am looking for something catchy that kids would be attracted to. THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!!
Thanking you advance for your help!!

"Got Spirit"--I'm assuming your products will be the school colors, etc.
I noticed you are in Frisco. Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church in McKinney, at 121 and Stacy Rd, is having a vendor fair at it's preschool open house in September. You may want to look into it to set up a booth. When I lived in Allen, my daughter went there. There are hundreds of kids enrolled at the school, which means hundreds of parents.
Please do a search of all suggestions - it's very expensive if you select a name that's already in use, protected, and you either pay penalties or just have to rename and redo all your labels and packaging and advertising materials. My husband is an advertising professional and I can tell you that any money you spend to identify your brand and your niche can be well worth it. Don't go for the cheapest person, and don't go just for a graphic designer. You want a good conceptual thinker who can give you something marketable that's also original and not in use by anyone else. Having any packaging or labels or business cards look cute is secondary - always start with the idea. Write up what you do - the main point followed by support points. What makes your products unique, what is your niche market, where are you going to display or sell these things (and will they be seen by the kids or the parents - your advertising and promotional approach will change depending on to whom you are appealing).
Is this going to be an online store? Or you will have a website?
If so, then you need to make sure, that the business name you choose, is not already taken.
Then, you need to test the strength of your domain name and search "ranking."
In other words, how it will come up in searches or not, based on the name.
For example:

Cool School Year Gear,
ABC's (Apparel, Bags, and Coolers)
I say forgot about the kids. Find something catchy to attract the moms. Will the items be customized to add their names? Or customized for the school colors but not with student's names?
