I'm looking to purchase a nap mat for my 3 year old to take to preschool. The kind that's a pillow attached to a blanket. I bought one from target and it's small an thin. Not the quality I was looking for. Anyone know where else I can go buy one for reasonable? Not online, I'd like to see it in person first. TIA!

What can I do next?

I saw one on PINTREST today. It took 5 pillow cases and sewed them together and stuffed them. It was so cute.
Good luck!

the only other nap mats I know of beyond the ones you describe don't have a pillow, they are the ones the schools get here for the kindergartners.
I've seen them at target and Walmart during back to school time, but you might find them at a school / teacher supply store.

I was at Joann Fabrics the other day and they had them already sewn together. I think they were under $20. They were quilted and seemed really nice, maybe go to your local store.

Do you know anyone that has a nap mat from Croak Totes? It's my friend's company but they aren't retail. Many children at area preschools around have them. Anyway, here is her nap map specific page, http://www.croaktotes.com/page2.php if you are interested. croaktotes.com

good luck!

My sister makes awesome, quality nap mat covers. They are lined with fleece and have a oversize blanket attached and a pillow also removeable. The nice thing is that you can pull out the mat and pillow and throw it in the washer. She has an etsy shop and is on facebook. Her business name is Katie~did~it. I know you are looking for something you can touch and depending on where you live she might even be willing to meet you. Hope this helps.

Hi, Posy Lane is located in Richardson, but has a store in McKinney. I bought my little girls mat from them almost 2 years ago and it has held up very well. Below is their website.
