Natural and Organic Diapers

We are getting ready to stock up on diapers for a newborn and we wanted to take a more "green" approach this time around.

Has anyone tried the Natural/Organic brands of diapers out there (e.g. gdiapers, tinytush, etc.).

Your feedback for such would be most appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Seventh Generation work great, but they are so expensive. I suggest getting them online for the best prices. Both diapers.com and Amazon have them.

I have been using Nature Baby Care diapers for the last nine months and find they really do hold up. You can't find them everywhere (Target is listed as a vendor) but I usually order them from diapers.com anyway. When you place an order for $49 or more, shipping is free. Good luck :)

Seventh Generation are ok, and Whole Foods has a brand of dieapers aswell.

If you really want the earth friendly approach you could try Gdipaers (whole foods carries them) or go with clothdiapers, i found the BumGenius to be the easiest on learning curve http://www.jilliansdrawers.com/bumGeniusV3.html but there are a ton of others, that site has alot of good diapers.

Also walmart carries kushies, which are a little more pocketbook friendly http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4601012

I have used seventh generation diapers on my little one since I ran out of other diapers that were a gift. I have had no problems with them. My only suggestion would be is that they tend to run a tad bit on the small side (especially the newborn ones) so buy one size up from what you think your little one should wear.
