Need 3X Wide Toddler Shoe!

Have you tried asking Stride Rite if they can special order it or get it in later? Or ask them for referrals on where else to get extra wide shoes for a toddler.

We have a 2 1/2 year old who is in wide shoes also, however we are able to buy them at Stride Rite. My Mother-In-Law had to deal with wide shoes for her Son too. She suggested to us that Buster Brown was where she bought her shoes. I'm not sure if they sell them or not, we haven't checked into that. You might check them out online or see where they sell them or where a store is.

Have you tried New Balance (on Hulen in Fort Worth) or Famous Footwear? I've had friends that have shopped there and said both these places have wide shoes for kids. You might want to call them and see if they carry a 3X.

I would do a search online and see what you find. We've bought an extra wide pair of shoes for our Son at JBF Consignment Store. We had to hunt for them and also Divine Consignment also has used clothing and shoes. You might want to check with them. The consignment sales are coming up next week and also other times this month, so check out JBF at www.jbfsale.com if you are interested in checking this route. I'm not sure about Divine Consign's website, however you could search for it online and they also advertise in the Fort Worth Child magazine.

have you seen the new croc tennis shoes. They are totally enclosed and Velcro across the top. This might be a good solution

Try one of the New Balance DFW stores. They carry wide in every size. They have one in Arlington, Ft. Worth, Dallas, Frisco, and Southlake. My husband is the manager at the one in Arlington, and they should be able to help you.

my son had 3x feet too. stride rite special ordered him some shoes, you will have to ask them to do this. also believe it or not walmart mcdonald shoes sometimes have a 3x.. good luck.. hes 7 and now we are just wide. YIPEE
