Hi ladies-any suggestions for a good, organic lotion for my 16 month old. She is sooo dry and scaley (sp?) and I'm on the hunt for a good mosturizer for her. Thanks.

We use Aquaphor (not organic, but natural nonetheless) when our girls are super dry and Method Squeeky Green Baby Lotion for everyday hydration. It smells oh-so-good!
I really like Arbone lotion for babies. It has worked wonders for my daughter and it is all from minerals and stuff like that.
Hi M.,
Weleda makes a really good calendula baby lotion that is really rich. I used it on my kids' cheeks in the winter when they had little chappy cheeks. It comes in a little tube. I like it a lot.
good luck!

Hey M.!
Melaleuca makes a fabulous lotion. It's called Renew. We use it for our daughter and her excema. I have a co-worker that just set up her account and started buying the products for her psoriasis. Which is almost gone!!!
If your kids skin are dry, I can only encourage you to change all your laundry habits as well. The chemicals that are in the detergents on the market can irritate the skin.
Children are more apt to have irritation because their skin is more porous. They are in their clothing all day, they sleep on the sheets, blankets, etc. You can't just buy lotion, you need to change other shopping habits as well.
