My husband has always wanted to go to the Cowboy game on Thanksgiving..So this year I was able to get him tickets to it- and its a great time since it will be the last Thanksgiving game that they will play at this stadium. Anyways, Im pretty excited about giving it to him and I am looking for some creative ways. I was thinking about making a Dallas Cowboys gift basket and putting the tickets in a card with it and then delivering it to his work. Please share your ideas with me. Its just a fun gift not a birthday present or anything like that. Thanks for the help moms!

So What Happened?

Thanks for the ideas. Here is what I did. I bought a small ice chest (that matches his new boat- BONUS) and filled it with 2 of the football shaped dr peppers and some snacks- beef jerky, sunflower seeds and crackers. Then I filled it with shredded tissue paper and put the tickets inside a DAllas cowboys drink koozie. Tied blue and silver balloons and delivered it to his work. He was so surprised and cant wait for the game! It turned out very cute

There is a company that will do any team thing you want. I heard about it on 102.9. They gave the host of the morning show like a beer bucket all decked out in his teams colors, etc. You might go to the readio station web page and email Victoria Snee on the morning show.

I would get him a new shirt and a new hat and put some binoculars and some candy and put it in a basket.
That would be fun!!!

I think your gift basket idea is quite perfect. Make the game more enjoyable by adding a spirit finger and some other cowboy stuff to the basket. Academy Sports & Outdoors has great stuff.

I bought my husband nascar tix for his birthday last year. I wrapped a remote control car of his favorite driver. But then he found a note I had taped to the bottom of the car that said he would actually see the real car at TX Motor Speedway on the date we were going. It was fun to watch his face as he realized what his real present was!! Maybe you could do something like this, but with a Dallas Cowboys theme. Or even a treasure hunt with Thanksgiving and Cowboys clues.

I think delivering to his work would be great idea. I would get some football balloons and put on the basket even though you know they could care less about balloons. Most soda's now you can get shaped like football's etc. Get him his favorite jersey or t-shirt and they all love caps. When you do the unexpected it sure gets their attention.
