I am a kindergarten teacher and here are a list of sites we use at school. Some of these I use at home with my kids!

Enchantedlearning.com is a good one. There is a yearly membership of $20.00, but you can also print some pages for free. If you are so inclined, you can make your own activities just by reading the ones you have to pay for. I am a teacher and did buy the membership myself. It has been great when you consider it costs less than $2.00 a month.

A totally free one I use a lot is senteacher.org. Go go to printables. It's great. You can insert your own information to make all kinds of handwriting or math activities.

Visit www.sitesforteachers.com it has a ton of websites that you can visit with free worksheets and lesson plans too, so you can create anything you need.

www.edhelper.com is also great...however there is a fee, but it is very much worth it!

There are several great sites you can go to. Try Starfall.com, Kaboose.com, you can also google educational websites and find many more. Try you local school district teacher web pages some have just what you are looking for. Hope this helps some. There are so many more I just can't think of them right now. I teach tech apps to k-5 and have a lot of these on favorites on my work computer.

Do a Google search for "free elementary school print outs" and you'll find a lot of websites. I just did one and found way too many to post here! Good luck - good thinking too! The enchantedlearning.com website you can pay for, but you can also use it for free. Just thought I'd explain in case it was confusing at all! I've used them before for free. I think it'll be the first thing the search pulls up. They have lots of stuff on there.

I have a couple that I use for my kids. Superkids.com has some free printouts for different ages and levels. Edhelper.com is one you have to subscribe to but well worth it. I has lots of worksheets and activities.

Your daughter does not need more worksheets. She needs to be learning to read. In first grade, she will have to make enormous strides in reading going from a level 5 (kinder) to 18-20 (end of 1st grade). When my daughter got bored with kinder, I taught her how to read. At that time I was a stay at home mom, but I am a teacher now. I got her basic books and taught her, by practicing, how to sound out the words. I would read stories to her. I made flash cards of basic sight words, color words, etc. I made a bingo game of the words. Once she learned a word, I would have her to cut it out of the newspaper as many times as she could find it. A great website for level reading books is www.readinga-z.com. It does cost but it is worth it. You can save and print the books from the website. So really once you subscribe you can download everything and only have to subscribe for that one year. Also as others mentioned starfall is a great reading site as well. So, introduce her to reading, if she's not reading already. If she is reading, take her to a higher level. The activities I mentioned above a sooo much better than worksheets, and she won't be finished in 5 minutes!

Google "Free First Grade Materials". It will bring up a number of sites. Most of them are paid sites, but most also have free samples available to download and print. You may only get one or two items per site, but you will have a variety of learning supplies. I found several math and reading/spelling worksheets.I also suggest letting her have a break over the weekends. You may want to work with her over lengthy school breaks that last two weeks or more. Certainly it is good to keep her fresh over summer breaks. Remember, too much of a good thing causes burn-out.

Try starfall.com - I dont know how advanced your little one is but I put my son on that site even if it is to keep him refreshed with what he already knows.Also- the dollar tree has learning workbooks that go from pre-k to 5th grade.(addition,subtraction, reading and time)

I did not read all of the responses that you received; therefore, I apologize if this suggestion is a duplicate. The Dollar Tree has workbooks for $1. My son is in kindergarten and has a 2nd grade mathematics workbook that is Buzz Lightyear themed. He loves it and it is a very good one.

starfall.com is our favorite phonics based learn to read website. You can purchase additional materials but all that is offered for free is awesome!

You might check with the teacher. Some school districts have links on their websites for things like that. My son's teacher gave us a link a couple years ago that we used from time to time for print outs of worksheets. I can't remember the site anymore.
Also, a great tool/toy is Leapster. My daughter loves the Bratz game that works on math and spelling.

Go to the library you can get books and copy them, also try used book stores

Hi N., I too am a SAHM with 2 left at home. My daughter is 15 and my son is 17. We've homeschooled for 11 years and I have used edhelper.com almost every year. It is a subscription service that gives you a year's worth of access. The price for just K-8 material is $19.99 (I think) but you can create your own or use their materials. They have spelling lists, math, science, social studies, etc. I always got so much use out of my subscriptions. Now that I have two high schoolers I am not using it...but I highly recommend it. My son is taking two courses at the local Community College and will probably take all of his courses there for his Senior year. He plans to achieve a Associates of Biological Sciences there before transferring to a 4 year college to finish up a Bachelor's degree in the same. He wants to be a Veterinarian. My daughter wants to go to the Culinary Institute of America in New York (YIKES) but will not go straight out of high school. Rather, she'll work in her field (Pastry arts) for awhile (the school requires 6 months) and that will allow her to be a little older when she goes. Our oldest son will be 20 this year and is in his 2nd year at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. So, at this time we feel like God has blessed us during our homeschooling and I am happy to pass on any thing that helped us in our journey. This might not help you but i thought i would throw it out there any way.They have great books at walmart.They are like three bucks but it is a whole activity book.They have they for prescool kindergarten ist grade and up to like 3rd or 4th grade.They are great.It is a book full of activites sheets like little homework pages.They are with the other little kid books and coloring books.Also they have some great flash cards.Sorry if this isnt what you are looking for but i thought you might want to check it out.Good luck

That's what I did when my daughter was in third grade, and it worked. You may have to weed through a few sites, but it's easier than just typing in "first grade worksheets" Adding that "free" really helped me.

there are some workbook at Sams or walmart called Everything you child needs to know in 1st grade (or 2nd or 3rd or whatever.) Jumpstart computer programs are good, but I suggest just letting her read. don't push her to the point she doesn't like school, or next year isn't a challenge. Let her have fun and be a Kinder child.

We like to use aplusmath.com for math worksheets. You can choose the level and amount of problems on a page and then print out. Another web site my son's teacher recommended was starfall.com. She recommended this for my 4 year old so I haven't really looked around to see if they have various levels besides pre-k. Good luck!

I had one of those kids and I have always been proud of him. I let him take a break at home. If he wanted to pick up a book or study something, I let him. I never pushed him and stressed extra work. He is now a Freshman in High School and in all the top classes he can be in. He can take credit, because it was all his idea. I know I did not really answer your question, my guess, would be to ask the teacher. You do not want your child to be board next year, because she already knows the work. Good Luck!

I teach third grade and I use edhelper.com to pull things off of. I believe they offer things without you having to pay. I do subscribe. One year was about $20. You can always split the cost with other moms if you have some friends to go in with you. You would share the password.
