Hi, I need help finding a Christams gift for my dads girlfriend. My mom passed away two years ago and my dad started dating this very sweet woman about a year ago. I need to get her a christmas gift, but I am at loss of what to get her. I don't want to get her a gift card to somewhere. Any sugestions?

Get a picture of the two of them together and have it transfered onto a round Christmas ornament with this year's date. Snapfish and other photo companies to a really nice job:

Something along the line of a fleece lap blanket, a robe, gloves and scarf. In order to not make it too generic, go to a higher end store, and buy something smallish but really nice.
I saw the post about the fleecetop blanket. We always give furry blankets that we find in ethnic stores and have never heard one complaint. They are soft and furry and soooo nice. We actually bought several ourselves.
I love personalized Totes. I have tons and keep each one packed for different occasions or crafts.

I got my DH a cashmere scarf from Lands End I totally want to take it, they have ones for Ladies too.
Bracelet, necklace, purse, fancy bath products.
A nice scarf and/or gloves
You cant go wrong with candles or those super soft throw blankets that are so popular right now. I'd wrap a fragrant candle in the soft blanket and stuff it in a gift bag. I found some really cute throws at Joann's fabrics on sale for 7 bucks, got a bunch of them for gifts for this year for everyone of all ages.
Its always hard to suggest gifts when we don't have more information. But I'll try...
Take the fleece blanket idea to the next level and get her a snuggly! Although, they are rather large and bulky.
A well insulated travel mug, if she drinks coffee. I love my Tervis from Bed Bath and Beyond. My ice water can keep in a hot car for at least 2 hours. It does the same for coffee. You can personalize it by picking a design and coordinating top, as well as colored drinking handles. You can go as whimsical or sophisticated as you like. Starbucks has great insulated travel mugs. I left ice water in it on the counter over night and in the morning the ice was still there...and I live in Texas! If I pour coffee in it in the mornings, 2 hrs later (if it lasts that long) it is still warm.
You can't ever go wrong with a box of Godiva chocolates or biscuits.
hth!
how about a large yankee candle? you could even get a topper and some things to go with it....
Maybe a scarf or nice pair of gloves...perhaps a sweater? I know it's probably hard to do clothes, they are so personal. A few years ago I got these AWESOME socks at Norstrom that were super soft, warm and very cute colors. They were like $20 a pair, so although expensive for socks, a good gift. I've also gotten some nice linen spray from Nordstrom before. I forget the brand but you can find it in various places, Target maybe even has some this season. Good luck!
