If you are interested, I do customized cakes. Please see my website http://www.brilliantcakes.com. I can do short notice. In fact, I have a 1/4 sheet chocolate cake ready if you want to order that, I can have it ready by this evening.
My son's birthday is this Friday and like always, we've procrastinated because of the holiday's and now are scrambling to plan a sleepover. I would like to have some "cool" games to play or things to do, so they don't just sit around playing Playstation or watching movies. Does anyone have any ideas or know of any good websites to check for this? Any "awesome" ideas would greatly be appreciated- a mom's gotta stay "cool"!
Thanks and Blessings!

Thanks for all your ideas! I used all the advise you gave (the Bingo was a great idea, I made a sports Bingo! We also had a scavenger hunt!) as well as letting them just do what they want- play hours of Playstation, I don't get it, but I'm not a 9yo boy! (Or a 31yo man, in the defense of my dear hubby!) Thanks Moms- you're awesome! Blessings to you all in the New Year!!

Hello :) I do not have boys myself but my sister has 2 a 12yo and 3yo... I would reccomend putting together a scavenger hunt throughout your house and yard - maybe even able to get a couple of neighbors involved (if he has invited school friends) get a prize for the winner or winners. Also A pinata is fun for all ages even 31.
I've got a 9 year old son and quite honestly they want to sit around watching movies and playing Playstation. At my son's sleepover last year of course they watching movies, played video games, played outside, and played with my son's toys. My son has a playstation and he only plays it on the weekends since we don't allow video games or movies during the school week (I know that the other mothers are like that as well) so that could be the reason why they want to do those things.
Some ideas that I have are pull out some of your board games and let them play those. I'm not very creative and probably not much help to you.
I'm interested to hear some of the ideas from the other moms for my son's next party.

I would suggest Bingo for prizes! You can get some cool little prizes from US Toys or Oriental Trading. Scavenger hunts are always fun too. Games are a big thing at this age especially if a prize is included!
