Greetings Moms (and Dads who lurk) -
DH and I live in Keller and we both have the same doctor. In the few times that we've made appointments to see this doctor, we've run into A) Seeing a PA instead of the actual doctor (put it this way -- I've never met the doctor. I'm always getting appointments with the PA!); B) an incredibly snotty an impatient staff; C) Wait times of 1 hour 45 minutes (I've never experienced THAT long a wait elsewhere).
Neither of us minds if the doctor is male or female but we do prefer a kind and friendly staff as well as a kind and friendly doctor. We are just not happy with the situation we're in now.
Suggestions welcome. Thank you for your responses!
My husband and I also see Dr. Roger Tolar and Kristine Pruitt. I always ask to see Kristine Pruitt and my husband usually sees Dr. Tolar. We have been very happy with both of them. They have a great staff and they are very quick! Good luck! I know finding a doctor that you like can be hard.
I moved to the area a year ago and have been seeing Dr Roger Tolar and his PA, Kristine Pruitt. I really like them and Kristine really takes the time to listen. They are right across from Tom Thumb on Keller Pkwy- Cornerstone Family & Sports Med.

I don't live in Keller, so I can't help you out with suggestions for other practitioners. I just want to say that I agree you need to switch practices! An hour and 45 minute wait is unacceptable. Seeing the PA, however, is acceptable. My doctor's office has also led me to believe that I had an appointment with the actual doctor, but instead, surprised me with the PA. It pissed me off at first, but then I got over it quickly when I realized that the PA is extremely capable of caring for me. It is much easier to get an appointment with the PA, too. However, if you still insist on seeing the actual doctor, you must specify that when you are making the appointment. Good luck!
We see Dr. Simonak on Beach Street (between Basswood and N. Tarrant). Been going there for a few years, and have never had a problem with the staff, and almost always see him. Good luck!
I'll second Dr. David Simonak. I've never actualy seen him, put the other Dr's or Pa's I have seen are great. I've never waited more than 15 minutes.
Don't tell too many people or the wait time will increase!!!! LOL
There's a practice on Alta Vista that just opened last year. Dr. Patel is the family practitioner there and she is WONDERFUL! I cannot say enough great things about her. There is also a pediatrician on staff whom my kids see. It's called Alliance Family Medicine and their number is ###-###-####. The staff there is excellent too!
I have been using the same team of doctors for 10 years or so and just love them. They treat our family of 6 with all our varying symptoms. It is Dr. Jeffrey Bullard at Maxhealth in Colleyville left off of Glade road near the Target. We also really like Dr. Moorhead. They are very efficient at handling insurance and questions and you are in and out in sometimes less then an hour. He has a very good reputation having been in the community for more than 15 years. We love our GP Dr. Debra Krieg. She always makes herself available to phone calls, and just is awesome. Her PA is only in 3 times a week or so, and I've never had the PA as a "sub" when I've had a Dr. appointment. She's on Heritage Trace Parkway, in the same center as AquaKids and Pisa's Pizza, across the street from Heritage Church of Christ. Her phone number is ###-###-####. Nurses are good and very sweet to my two babies and myself. :) We had a situation when my son was born and Dr. Krieg made herself available to us beyond normal office hours.
