Need Part Time Preschool in East Dallas

The preschool where my 4 year old is and our family has been for the past 7+ years won't allow us to go part time (3 days per week), even though there are other kids there on a part time basis.

So, I need to find a preschool or child development center with hours like 8am to 6pm that take part time enrollments. We live in East Dallas near the Arboretum so I'd like something in this area or Lake Highlands.

What can I do next?

Cathy,

Is Mesquite a possibility? My daughter's gym (gymnastics) has its own private school that is expanding to over preschool. The program has a very strong academic base and will offer Alphabet Island Phonics, Shiller Montessori Math, Le Clase Divertida Spanish. It will also incorporate gymnastics and Dance from a certified instructor. The program is available for 2, 3 and 5 days per week. I have yet to find a program in the Metroplex that offers such strong curriculum with great extra's that coincide.

Let me know if you have any questions or would like additional info!

Thanks,
T.

I'm sure you've gotten many responses by now, but I would encourage you to look into the child care center where my two year old goes in East Dallas off of Oates and Gus Thomason. It's Discovery School, and they take all ages. My husband and I are not well off financially and they allow us to pay daily, and have what they call "drop ins" that allows parents to bring kids in part time. It's not a montassori school, but they have great teachers (my son is just in love with his teacher and talks about her all the time when we get home at the end of the day).
I don't have the phone number, but I'm sure you can find them in the phone book/directory.
Hope this helps :)
