I use Brick Pediatrics - Dr. Sandeep. She is just wonderful and my kids love her. She is totally respectful of parents rights when it comes to vaccines. I just love them especially her!
I'm due in November with our first child. My husband and I are looking for recommendations for pediatricians. We live in Ocean Township, so having someone close by would be preferrable. Also, we would prefer a doctor or group that is flexible about vaccine schedules since we wish to delay most vaccinations. Both of my sister-in-laws use a group in Red Bank, but we wanted to see if we could find someone else to choose between. I misplaced my copy of NJ Monthly's last issue of doctor's recommendations where a pediatrician in Ocean Township was listed. Also, someone in my childbirth class mentioned a doctor in Wall that is flexible with vaccinations. Any recommendations?
My son is now two months old and I chose to use Navesink Pediatrics. It was a really tough choice between them and another doctor's office. However, I absolutely love Dr. Wood and am happy with the group so far.

My oldest daugther is 11 and we have used West Park Pediatrics since day one. I love all the doctors in the practice and that fact that if needed you can get a sick appointment on the weekend. Our favorite doctor in the group is Dr.Jaqueline Brunetto. The address is 804 West Park Ave, Ocean Twp. ###-###-####. Although I am not sure on their stand on the vaccinations but it would be worth a consultation with them to ask. Best of luck in your search and with your new bundle of joy!

Hi T....and maybe others will be interested in this post re vaccination. I sense some concern of it in your post.
I've just gone through this with a hypnotherapy client of mine who objects to having her kindergartner vaccinated to qualify for school! Apparently, the schools insist on this; however, if you say that it is "against my religion" they must waive the shots. And...it is against the law for them to ask about your religion...so you don't have to answer such questions.

I live in Tinton Falls so I chose a Red Bank Pediatrician but I have heard great things about a pediatric group in Ocean. I can't think of the group's name right now but they are located on W Park Ave (804).
Dr. Richard Reutter in Long Branch is wonderful. One of his offices is right behing Monmouth Medical Center. My daughter is 15 months old and has not had one vaccination. He is very open minded about that. His number is ###-###-####. Good Luck!
Hi T.,
I remember when I was looking for a ped. I went on 8 interviews. Finaly I chose one doctor, for the same reason. VACCINATIONS. I think she is a great doctor. She likes to be on scheduale with the vacs. but has no problem delaying them or splitting them up. You just have to be on top of them. She actually had me delay the Hep B vac. They usually give this one in the hospital the day the baby is born. She told me not to give till she was one mon. old. That is when I started to do all of my on reserch on vacs. When I questioned the MMR (15 mon.) She told me I was able to wait till she was 2 or till she goes to school. I don't know any other doctor who has done this. Any way, go for an interview see what you think. Her name is Dr. Santa Maria Lucero # ###-###-#### She is on Poole Ave in Hazlet. Good Luck. Stick with your gut on the vac. I use Seashore Pediatrics in Wall. They are right off 195/138 West. I have four children and have never had a problem with them. The practice consist of two lady doctors, Dr. catherine Meli and Dr. Naheed Rahmet. Both are very caring and are excellent with children. I'm not sure what county that is, but I live in Freehold and find them very convienent. Their office is right on the highway. So, in the bad weather months I never have to deal with unpaved roads and such. There is also an Indian lady pediatrican in Freehold that I've heard excellent things about (Dr. B...). The only reason I chose not to use her is that her hospital is Centerstate and I much prefer Jersey Shore Medical Center. Good luck in your search!
Hi T.,
I have 2 boys ages 5 and 7 and twins on the way. I used to live in Ocean, but recently moved to Oceanport. I use Stepping Stone Pediatrics in Wall. ( Dr Micale and Dr Alex) I love both of them and love their practice.
I switched doctors 3 times before I found a practice that works for me and my kids. the practice is fairly new ( with in the last 4 to 5 years) the office is very clean and new.
My oldest son has 1/2 of his vaccines and my younger son is not vaccinated. this office was willing to work with me and did not pressure me. I was very pleased with that.
The office is really nt far from ocean. its just down rt 18, and located on st hwy 138. It used to take me 10 minutes or less from ocean.
good luck to you.

Hi T.,
My son just turned one i August and was looking recently to switch ped's. After much research,we decided on Stepping Stone Pediatrics. They are located on right on 138 in Wall Twp. They are great! This is the third practice we have been since the birth of my son in August 07. I received a recommendation from a nurse in the pedi er at Monmouth. There are two Dr.'s, Dr. Maria Micale and Dr. Alex Liwag and both are wonderfuly with my son. One of the first questions I asked during our consult was about their vaccination policy and their response was that they are open to proceed however we, the parents feel necessary. Good luck!
