Stepping Stones Peds w/ Dr Alex & Dr Maria is fantastic (as the previous response said). I highly recommend them. They are young parents,too, who are just so down-to-earth and realistic about things. They are so very easy to talk to. Good luck to you and your new baby girl!

I like Pediatric Associates in Neptune. Especially Dr. Estrada and Dr. Glazier. The nurses and staff there are also very good, and nice, in my opinion. And they're right across the street from the hospital, which would be good in an emergency. I had a negative experience with West Park Pediatric in Ocean (interpersonal, not medical), but my good friend (and mom of three) really likes them, so it can be very subjective.

I use stepping stone pediatrics and love the practice. they are located on Rt. 138 in wall. not far from route 18. there are 2 doctors in the practice, one male one female. (Dr Alex and Dr. Micale) they both have young children of their own so they are in touch with what we go through as parents. their office is newer and very clean. it this is not too far for you, I would definitely check them out.

I'm expecting my baby in the next few weeks and we just met with Colts Neck Pediatrics for a pre-natal office tour. We are definitely going to be using them.

Dr. Bautista is great, very kind and attentive and so is her office staff. It is such a warm place. The doctor also is not all about giving antibiotics or drugs for every sniffle or sneeze. She allows the child's immune system to work, which was a big deal for my husband and I since I'm a nutritionist and really prefer to use pharmaceuticals as a last resort.

I would suggest setting up visits with a select few pediatricians who's values seem to match yours and choose that way. You have some time, so taking this time to do some research will definitely benefit you.

Please give Stepping Stone, Hwy 138 in Wall, a call. You will LOVE them. They are the 5th group that we're with and have been with them for over 2 yrs. My son, now 7, was born with a Chromosome deleation and has a team of doctors in Phili at CHOP. Every doctor I have met, large groups, small groups and even pedi floor and ER doctors an JSUMC, either talked down to us or refused to treat Nicholas because we took him to CHOP. Drs. Maria and Alex (they like to use their first names for the kids) are INCREDIBLE. I can't say it enough. My husband is a police officer for a local town and one of the wife works for a pharmacutical company and she found this wonderful office. She highly recommended them after switching her kids and a large amount of families from the police dept have switched to them. They are very encouraging and supporting of parents if the parents would like a second oppinion or if they would like to use a specialty hospital. Which ever doctor is on call at night or the weekend, they have their lap top so there is no guessing as to when your child was last in or the types of treatments or meds the child was on. They have all of their info right in front of them. I really can't stress enough how well liked they are. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to give me a call.
