Hi! My family is moving in a week to a house with a pool (in Flower Mound). Of course, this will be the first pool we have ever had. Can you recommend someone who teaches pool school? We would like to learn to take care of the pool ourselves. Additionally, if we were to have someone come out occasionally, can you give recommendations? Thanks!

Not sure where you are at, but we have gotten a lot of assistance from Kapprodt's Pools in Keller. They have saved us quite a bit of money since they have helped talk us through several repairs my husband did himself. Welcome to Flower Mound! You're going to love it here. My family and I have been here for 17 years - 15 of those with a pool. My husband handles all of our maintenance and repairs (unless it's a big issue, like the pumps, which is covered under our home warranty). He suggested contacting either Leslie's or Robertson's. Both sell pool supplies, test your water, etc. Either could guide you in caring for your own pool, and may be able to come out to your residence to show you specifics when it comes to your pump, vacuum, filters, etc.
