I am interested in getting estimates for putting in a swimming pool and wanted recommendations on pool companies. Any you thought were honest and particularly good? Any you would stay away from? Thanks!
Don't use Joy pools! They do a great job putting the pool in but their service department is horrible. If you have ANY problems they are so........ rude.If you have questions you should be able to get answers. In my eyes,customer service is the most important especially when you spend that kind of money.
We used Blue Haven- and our pool took almost one year to complete. I wouldn't recommend them. I have heard lots of good things about Claffey.

We bought a house 5 mnth ago, it has a Robertsons pool that is 6 years old. The pool is in good condition, (no leaks) we love the design (very unique). Robertsons pool always gives advice to us when we go there to test the water (for free, although we didn't built the pool, the former home owners did)
So thus far we have a good experience with Robertsons.

Try Outback Design....not only do they do swimming pools, but outdoor eating areas, gazebos, retaining walls, etc.

My whole family is in the pool business (except for me!) and I would recommend either Claffey pools or Hart pools. These are both family run businesses and do an excellent job. I would not recommend Robertson Pools at all. From my experience, they build a pretty nice pool, but aren't that great on follow through.

Claffey pools located in Southlake are very good....Robertson pools did a bad job on my neighbors!!! Took alot longer than planned and the pool is done and they are having leaking probs...they are located in Flower Mound... Good Luck
