I just moved to the area and I need a good pediatrician. My son has some health problems and will be seeing a cardiologist at Childrens, but I need to get a pediatrician as well.
Any advice about where to look and who not to look at would be great.

Not sure where you are located but I really like Dr. Anthony Johnson at Arkansas Pediatrics ###-###-####). My daughter as well has to see specialists and they are wonderful working with Children's. Their practice is large and I have heard nothing but good things about all the doctors there. Good luck!

Dr. Jane Miers in Sherwood is great. She is in the Baptist Family Clinic on Kiehl Ave. I have several friends that take their children to see her and they absolutely love her. She actually takes the time to listen to what you have to say and will stay in the exam room until you have finished asking any questions. She's very good with kids and seems very down to earth. I have been to another pediatric clinic and every doctor in that practice brought laptops into the exam room to document and they never took their eyes off of the computer. I never felt like they were listening to me and they didn't really spend much time with my daughter. It was like they were always trying to rush us out of there. Hope this helps!
If you are looking in the Bryant area, I highly recommend CENTRAL ARKANSAS PEDIATRIC CLINIC... ###-###-#### ... Dr. Alan Stanford was the initial doctor who started the practice, and is still there. He has been our pediatrician since I was pregnant with my first child (born in 1997); since then, several other doctors have joined the practice, and all of them seem to be very good.
