I am looking for any suggestion on location for a 1st birthday party. The date will be November 22, 2008. We are looking for something indoors as Nov. is far to cold in Denver. My house is way too small to host a party indoors only. Any suggestions are welcome!

What can I do next?

We also have 1st B-Day coming up & our house is way too small & it is too cold in Jan. I am a member of Gymboree (in Boulder) for $225 you get 1 1/2 hors. First hour you have a teacher that interacts w/ the kids (and the girls are GREAT!0 in the huge play area - set up age approp., then 1/2 hour in the side room if you are serving food. They also provide plates, cups, etc., and invitations.

Since it is a first B'day, you don't have to make it big. She won't remember it. How many people and kids do you want to invite. McDonalds has parties and with a play area you don't have to do much.

You can rent space at a recreation center for far cheaper than having it at a "children's place." That way you can decorate it however you want and choose your own activities. There is also Monkey Bizness Too for younger toddlers and the Children's museum. I hope that helps.

B.,

I am not sure where you live but there is a new place called Little Monkey Bizness in Lone Tree. I have not been yet but it is suppose to be like the other one but designed for smaller kids. I do home childcare and take my kids to the bigger one a lot and they love it. Might be pricey though. You could probably search it out on the internet as well. Maybe a recreation center in you area?

Hi B.

What about a Rec center or Apex center for swimming they always have a room you can rent or the Apex center has a tree house playground that is always fun that you can use for birthdays or a McDonalds or Chuck E Cheese. All seem age appropriate for a 1 year old to be able to play too. Our favorite is Pump it up, the kids love it. Good luck
