New to Denton/Corinth Looking for a Doctor for My Me and Hubby

Hi L., welcome to Corinth. We moved here last summer and love it so far. I have a 5 year old daughter starting kindergarten in August and a 2 year old son as well. I didn't realize there were so many Moms from Corinth on here. :) I haven't changed GPs since moving so I'm glad you asked this question.

Welcome! I am in Corinth. My daughter is almost 4 and my son almost 2 so our children are very close in age. Our neighborhood pool is a great place to hang out in the summer. Let me know when you get settled in and you can join us. :)
I am not thrilled with my doctor and looking for someone new so I can't recommend right now.
I have 2 more openings for my 4 year old homeschool preschool beginning in August. Let me know if you want more details. :)

In Corinth there's a new office on Swisher for Stephen Glaser. He was our GP when we lived in Lewisville. This is a second office for him.
In Denton, Scott E. Talbot, M.D. His nurse practitioner Kthleen Elder is a close personal friend and she's GREAT!

Their office is also kind of a "one stop shop" for family medical care because they share a building with pediatricians Dr. Amy Adams and Carrie Jones. We love Dr Adams!

We also use the Drs McDowell at Corinth Family Medicine & Pediatrics & have been very happy with them.

Although I cant recommend any dr.s as we are still trying to find a great one ourselves, I wanted to say welcome to the area! I live in Corinth and just love it, so if you need anything, please send me a message. I am a SAHM (well I provide in home childcare so actually a WAHM!) with 3 kids and one on the way. If you need help with schools, or where to go for things to do, well anything (except obviously the one thing you want right now:) I would be happy to see what I could do. We moved from Corinth to Frisco 6 months ago, but for the 7 years I was in Corinth, I used Dr. Soan at Lake Cities Medical off Hundley.

I LOVED Dr. Soan - he was very real, easy to talk to, was not at all pushy and was always happy to be flexible with prescriptions (i.e. making sure it was a generic with your insurance or giving samples). He splits his time b/t 2 offices - Lake Cities Medical and one in Highland Village. I would go to whichever office he was at on the particular day I needed an appointment.

I can't help you with Dr.s in that area, but you mentioned you are looking forward to meeting Moms and I am in a GREAT Mom's group. Look us up at www.greaterlewisvillemothersandmore.org and see if you are interested.

Welcome to the area L.. I live in Corinth as well. I have a 11 year old step-son and 1 1/2 year old son. My recommendation for a dr. is Corinth Family Medicine and Pediatrics. THe dr's names are Dr. Rhonda and Adam McDowell. They are a husband and wife. My family and I all see them. He is the general practitioner and she is the pediatrician. He will see the kids as well. They are great. We've been in and out of there so much with my youngest I feel like they are family.
