Does anyone have experience with Dr Schulman in Denton. What can you tell me about his practice, his staff and how good he is? We were also considering Dr. Squires.

What can I do next?

We both liked him if you can get passed that he hardly ever looks you in the eye. He also did a job good on my son's circ and was very helpful at the hospital. I switched to Dr. Squires after he pressed on about introducing a bottle even after I told him we were not interested or will never be in using bottles.

We don't see Dr. Schulman, but I have TONS of friends who do take their kids to him and love him. Dr. Goff, another awesome doctor here in town takes his kids to Dr. Schulman. Most of my friends who see Dr. Schulman have twins or triplets and sometimes it is hard to find a doctor who can see more than one child at at time. So, if my friends with multiples feel like he and his staff are thorough, then with a singleton the service should be really great.

My two kids go to Dr. Schulman. I have a 16 month old and a 4 year old. He is a very smart Dr. and have been happy with him. I see his Nurse Practioner, too. She is wonderful. I have no complaints.

Dr. Schulman is a fantastic pediatrician. He is great with the kids. His strong suit is he does not over prescribe medicine. In many cases he believes it is best for nature to take its course to build up the child's immune system. This makes me confident when he does prescribe something that it is in the child's best interest. One drawback is that, unless you are used to him, he doesn't communicate fantastically with adults. However, he answers any questions you might have but says only things you need to know.

I interviewed him and his nurse practioner 10 years ago. My children went there for about three years and saw the nurse Practioner mostly. If she is still there she is AWESOME. I however started to work for a family doctor and so my children stopped seeing them in that office. Now my kids see Dr. Adam McDowell and Dr. Rhonda McDowell in Corinth. Dr. Schulman or Dr.'s Mcdowell would be an excellent choice.

G.,
I have been using Dr Schulman for 3 years and one of my neighbors has used him even longer. My children love him and that's because he directs most all of his conversations to the children and I listen. He answers questions well, but sometimes very abrupt. He always takes the children's side of my complaints (I think most parents like that). We started using him for ADHD and I feel very confident in his treating both children for this. He made it very clear to the children that he doesn't give them shots, ever, unless it is absolutly necessary. To answer your question, I would reccomend him.
