H. Portland Moms,
We just recently moved to Portland, Northeast side. Can you recommend a pediatrician or group? We belonged to a large pediatrician group in Chicago but wouldn' t mind a smaller practice. I am mostly looking for a pediatrician that it doesn't take months to get an appointment, does that even happen nowadays? We have two little children so still a lot of checkups and visits.

Our family uses Sellwood Medical Clinic which is bit of a drive, but nice. My son's pediatrician is Monique Pritchard; that said, we've seen Dr. Martin and the other pediatrician there (can't remember their name) and they've all been great. Scheduled appts with Dr. Pritchard might take a while, but we've also had good luck getting an on-call to see us for same-day visits when my son's been ill. I have no complaints!
I used to work at the Broadway Medical Clinic, the same as the person mentioned below but they had the name wrong. ###-###-#### (I think). Any of the peds there are really good.
I highly recommend Dr. Mary Lee Baker in the Hollywood Medical Clinic. It's around 42/Sandy Blvd. She's been my grandchildren's pediatrician for 10 years now. It's easy to get appointments and she's easy to talk with.

If you are willing to travel to SE, then I highly recommend East Portland Pediatric Clinic at Adventist Hospital. They are so wonderful and have hours open on Saturdays and Sundays. Which we all know as parents, is wonderful as kids don't always have issues 9-5pm! All the Dr's, nurses, and staff there are so sweet and great with kids.
