Night Waking - Cypress,TX

My 1-year-old son wakes constantly during the night. We co-sleep. I can get him back to sleep without changing him, but I think it's the initial wetness that wakes him. Then of course, he wants to nurse. Is there a diaper out there that will help with this problem? Or any other suggestions for that matter? We currently use Pampers Swaddlers. Any help would be awesome! I haven't slept for more than 4 straight hours in a year!

What can I do next?

Our doctor said that at this age they don't need the night feeding and that by replacing the nursing with some water then they stop waking up out of habit because they aren't getting what they really want (to nurse). Either use a bottle or sippy cup of water that you can keep by your bedside.... your son should be sleeping 12 hours straight at this age.

Hope this helps - good luck.
blessings,
Stacy

My little guy was waking up soaked, or even sometimes leaking through, so sheets, pjs, etc had to be changed in the middle of the night. I switched to the Huggies overnights and have been VERY happy with them. I did try the Pampers Overnights, but they leaked on me on two separate occasions.

Huggies usually offers pretty good coupons, so you can wait until there is a good sale on them, use a coupon, and with a big box, you are stocked up for a month or so!

we used pampers baby dry at night, it's made for overnight absorption and worked really well for us.

out dr. told us that after a year they no longer need the night feeding. our son has his own crib and we did the cio method. it took us three nights and he finally realized we werent going to get him when he cried. he is very happy and is getting the rest he needs too. its not just about us getting sleep but him too. good luck.

I actually switched to the Costco brand, Kirkland. I like them better than Pampers which I used for 3 years until my MIL bought me a box of Kirklands. I still wake up everynight with my 21 mo old and my 3 yr old started sleeping thru the night only in the past few months! I feel your pain! I am prob not the person to give sleep advice since I gave my kids bottles of milk throughout the night and picked them up everytime they cried! No ferber method in my house!LOL! Hope I helped a little. Good luck!

I use Pampers cruisers dry max, and I like them. However I have read about some people complaining about rashes and liking.
I didn't have any of those problems but if you decide give them a try you should buy a small package, but I would recomend you to buy a small package of any new brand you want to try anyway.
The only complain I have with this pampers is that when we were in the road for 2 hours when he stop she had a very saggy diaper, but not likings so it wasn't a really big deal.
