As others have mentioned, I used the "diaper doublers". They are at Publix on the aisle with the diapers, and do look a lot like a maxi pad for diapers, but they really worked.

I am having a hard time finding a diaper that can make it all night for my 19-mth-old son. He wets through everything we've tried and this wakes him up due to the cold and uncomfortable feeling. Currently we use Pampers Cruisers and we are trying Pull Ups Nighttime for boys. He sleeps through the night otherwise.
Thanks for everyone's response!! We tried Huggies overnights and it worked! I could hardly believe it ! I lookes at Publix for the Diaper Doublers but my Publix doesn't carry them. I will try another. Thanks!!

Have you tried doublers? They are thick pads that can be placed inside the diaper to help absorb more liquid. Also, I don't know if you give him something to drink to help him go to sleep, but if you do, it may be a good idea to ween him from that habit.
You may want to think about using good old fashioned plastic pants over the diapers. I also know the type diapers you are using absorb less urine so go back to the regular diapers not pull-up types.
I currently use Huggies Overnights for my 12 month old son.....before we switched to Huggies Overnights (i have only found them in size 4 & 5 at Publix) we used what is called a diaper doubler inside his regular diaper. You can find them in the diaper section at Publix only.....they come 30 to a pack for only $3. The basically kind of look like a big maxi pad without the sticky side. If we do not use one of these our son soaks thru his diaper.
Hope that helps!
I have a 18 month old boy and I swear by the huggies overnights..The diaper is saturated, but he is dry in the am.
hope that helps

I use Pampers BabyDry in the next size up at night! Works great for us.
Maybe you should just try using regular diapers intead of the pull-up/cruiser types. (If he is not potty trained of course) I know in the regular diapers they make special diapers for night time use.
My daughter is a little older, now, so they probably have new products on the market so I can't say I have tried them all but I did try them all a few years ago and NOTHING worked. Nothing but waking up and changing her diaper in her sleep. The best luck I had was with the pull ups. Those were it! I still use them with my younger daughter and, although she doesn't wake up, she sleeps more restlessly if I don't wake up and changer them if I notice they are wet. They get used to me changing them and just stay sleeping or lift their bottom to help out with thier eyes closed and go right back to sleep.
Try pampers baby dry, those work really good for me.
I too use the pampers cruisers. I have to buy two sizes: his size 4 that her wears during the day and size 5 for night. He sleeps 12 hours and drinks a ton of water and so far, this has worked for us. Just something else to try if you can't find the overnight pads.

Hello K.,
I have 8 children, the youngest being almost 5. I don't know if you can still buy them, but some years ago I used diaper doublers. They are like a long maxi pad that you put in the middle of the diaper to soak up more urine at night. I used to buy them in the pharmacy. Good luck,

If nothing else works, you could try cloth diapers. There are some called pocket diapers that you can put in a varying amount of absorbant liners. They're actually really easy to use. My daughter's 6 months old, and we've only used disposables when we travel. And actually on our last trip my husband insisted we take the cloth b/c he likes them so much. We wash them ourselves and she stays dry through the night and day and doesn't get rash. If you're interested, one of the websites I use is www.conttonbabies.com. Either way, good luck!
Huggies supremes work very well. Our son is a soaker too. I use whatever is cheapest during the day and only the huggies at night.. they're wonderful!

My son is only 1 year old but he wets through the night alot too. And we have found that Parents Choice hold alot. I don't have to change him till he gets up in the morning. Maybe you can try those. They are at Walmart
Try using Overnights along with any diaper. I have only been able to find them at Publix. They are almost like a pad you put in their diaper. I have a son who had the same problem and they seemed to work pretty well with any diaper.
Good Luck.
Hi K., I had a similiar problem with my son, what I did was put him in the next size up in Pampers Cruisers than the normal size he wore during the day & put the Gerber vinyl/plastic pants over the diaper. This prevents leaking & seems to do the trick! The plastic pants can be found @ Babies R Us. Hope this helps!

My son wet so much I used Huggies Overnites Diapers plus the Diaper Doublers from Publix. That was the only way we could stop the leaking. He would leak even though I would check to see if he was wet and change him during the night, of course waking him up.
Here's what the package looks like:

The Overnights come in sizes 3, 4 and 5. I think I found them at Publix, too. Sometimes they can be a little hard to find. I've found them at both Walmart and Toys R' Us at times.
My personal experience with Pampers Cruisers ended up with the stuffing running out of the diaper and causing a horrible rash on my daughter's bottom, I would suggest regular Pampers and maybe a smaller size, if it wouldn't be uncomfortable for your son. My daughter can wear a size 5 but 4's still fit her and they protect her skin better.
K. - I used Huggies Overnight diapers and they worked great! I have a daughter. Also, limiting his fluid intake a few hours before bed will help him make it thru the night dryer. A friend of mine uses some type of diaper liner...she explained it as like a extra "pad" that can be put in the crotch of the diaper to help overnight....maybe call BabiesRUs to see if they carry anything like that....Good luck!
I use the pampers cruisers during the day. Huggies overnights works very well for my 18 month old daughter. I buy them at Walgreens or at Publix.
