Hi C., Congratulations! Pregnancy is very natural, you do not need to have symptoms because you are not sick. I have heard stories over the years about women who did not know why they were gaining weight etc and never thought they were having a baby. My Aunt was named Victoria because my grandmother thought she had a tumor. Relax and be grateful you are not sick. Grandma Mary

I too had no symptoms with #3, after having the worst morning sickness with both #1 and #2. But by the time week 6 rolled in I was feeling awful and stayed that way until week 15. Maybe you will get lucky, but my guess is that symptoms are just around the bend for you.

5 weeks is a little early to be feeling many symptoms. Usually the nausea, etc. starts around 6 or 7 weeks. And even then, I didn't really believe that I was pregnant until I felt the baby move! All pregnancies are different. So what you might have felt with the last one doesn't necessarily apply with this one. best of luck!

I did not get any morning sickness until about 6 or 7 weeks. So don't be concerned about this. Every pregnancy is different, even with the same person. Good luck!

I had a sonogram at 6 weeks because my nausea, that I experienced right away at 4 weeks, went away. My dr. told me that if we saw a heartbeat, all was good to go. Luckily, we did see a heartbeat and then, in a few days, the nausea returned and stuck with me until 20 weeks! (i ended up taking dyclectin). I was so worried during the week that my nausea abated that I couldn't even enjoy it! At any rate, I am not sure if you can see a heartbeat already at 5 weeks, I think it may not be visible until 6 weeks, but I am sure that regardless, they will be able to see the yolk sac and the embryo and assure you that your baby is growing just fine.

I'm over 7 months and if he doesn't move I don't know I'm pregnant. Not 1 symptom of being pregnant at all.

Maybe this pregnancy will be easier for you!

So this soon to be mom says don't stress and think positive thoughts!!! I know it's hard not to stress or think about it. Do something to take your mind off of it.
