My daughter went through a phase like that as well. The only thing I can think of doing is switching diaper brands or using a bigger size at night to hold more of the fluids.
My son is 8 months old. Everysince he was born I have to change his sheets every morning cause he pees thur his clothes. I can change his diaper at 3 in the morning and still at 8 he will have soaked his bed. I have talked to several people with little boys and none of them have had that problem. If anyone has any suggestions or could tell me if they no what the problem could be I would love you forever. It's work to change crib sheets every morning.

I had similar problems with my daughter and we switched her to "overnight diapers". Huggies makes them and they are extra absorbent. They have helped tremendously. My daughter is 22 mos old and we have been using these for almost a year with much success. Hope that helps!
Yes, I have that problem but only when I give him something to drink after bed time (8ish). It could be the type of diaper. Those commercials lie! I tell you. All the diapers, I've tried none work as well as Huggies. I know there expensive but it beats washing or changing linen everyday.
my suggestion is go up to the next size on diapers- that was usually a good indication that they have out grown the current ones. Even if they still fit. Also, being a mother of 2 boys- make sure the weiner is pointing down and not up. goodluck!
We had this problem when my son was about a month old. We ended up having to switch to Huggies diapers because they seem to absorb the best. Make sure you point his boy part down and that the diaper is on tight enough. This sounds really wierd but there was even a time that Conner was just sweating excessively. We had him dressed in sleepers for a while only to discover that he was sweating straight thru his clothes. Once we switched to only onesies at night it stopped. I hope this helps a little. Godd luck.
No advice but have you tried diaper doublers? They are pads you stick in the diaper.
Try putting the plastic training pants over his diaper before putting him to bed.
Hi- I have two boys and I found that the only time I had a prob like this was when I tried using the cheaper diapers.. The only ones that worked during the night were the Huggies overnight diapers, or the huggie supremes. But the best ones were the overnights, I was really impressed how well they held up! Hope this helps!
Hello! I see you have gotten a lot of advice, but since I had similar problems when my son was a baby I thought I would add my experience. What worked: Pampers. EVERY other brand of diaper leaked. Don't know if you have tried them; I know they are pricier than some other brands but to me it was worth the extra cost. Good luck!
I totally agree with Michelle.
After trying them all, Huggies Supreme are the only diapers we use now.
I have a two year old who used to do the same thing. I mean I would wake up every morning and her pajamas, crib sheet, blanket it would all be soaking wet. I tried every kind of diapers on the market....I finally found a brand (this is, if you do use disposable ones) Huggies Night time diapers. I would check the size...I made the mistake of assuming it was leaking because they were too small..truth is they were too big. I stepped down a size and it was perfect. I havent had trouble since. Now she is potty training in progress so she often wakes up dry. My three year old little girl never had the problem of leaking. Its crazy!! Good luck.
HEY S., I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY SON UP UNTIL ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO, WHEN HE TURNED 10 MONTHS OLD. HE USE TO BE SOAKED EVERY MORNING, ALONG W/ THE SHEETS AND BLANKETS IN HIS CRIB. I BOUGHT THE GERBER CLOTH TRAINING UNDERWEAR AND PUT IT OVER HIS DIAPER. IT REALLY HELPED BECAUSE THIER VERY ABSORBANT. ONCE MY SON TUNRED LIKE 10 MONTHS OLD, I RELIZED HIS DIAPERS WERE BECOMING LESS FULL IN THE MORNING. NOW HE WEARS JUST A DIAPER TO BED AND IS FINE. I DIDN'T DISCOVER THE CLOTH DIAPERS UNTILL HE WAS LIKE 6 MONTHS OLD....SO I WASHED HIS SHEETS EVERYDAY. I WISH I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF IT SOONER! YOU COULD ALSO TRY PUTTING A "PULL UP" DIAPER ON OVER HIS REGULAR ONE, THAT MAY WORK AS WELL. I WOULDN'T MAKE HIM WEAR PJ PANTS ON OVER ALL OF THAT THOUGH, IT MAY THEN BECOME UNCOMFORTABLE. I JUST LET MY SON WEAR HIS DIAPER, THE CLOTH ONE OVER IT AND A TEE TO BED. HOPE THIS HELPS!
We had a leaky diaper problem and we switched to Huggies Supreme (in the red bag) and one size bigger. I also put a little Johnson's baby powder (with cornstarch, it has a blue cap) in the diaper. Good luck.
IT could be the size of the diaper. My son was never in a infant diaper he went staright to a 1. Everytime he leaked through his diaper I changed to the next size! Also Huggies Overnights work wonders they are thicker for the nights sleep. Hope this helps!
I know it sounds simple, but I had that problem with my son until i figured out that all of the ruffles on the edge of the diaper have to be on the outside, or else he would get leaks all of the time. I had some tucked in by accident, and he would always be wet.
Ignore this if it is a stupid solution.

I had that problem with my son when he was a baby. I even asked the doctor about it. Basically, I didn't get anymore info other than "yeah, some babies process liquids faster than others". It is a sign of a high metabolism. My son who is now twelve (5'8", 110 lbs)has proven this to be true. He eats like a horse and gains nothing. What I can suggest to save yourself some work, is to get bedpads. You can find them in the same aisle as depends. I had to put two at time in his crib so I wouldn't have to change sheets all the time. Also you can put a cloth diaper under his disposable, then you'll just being washing diapers rather than the entire bedcloths.
when my son was younger that would happen sometimes.i found that you may need to change diaper brands and see if you can't cut down his fluid intake in the evening.try to give him his juice and stuff in the morning or early afternoon.try to limit it to a small bottle or feeding right before bed.you may also want to look into the plastic pants they use for cloth diapers for at night.that may help protect the sheets till you figure out a solution or he stops.i don't know what brand you use but i've found the ones that worked best for me were pampers.but every baby is shaped differently and some do better with different brands.hope this helps, good luck!
Publix sells Diaper Doublers in the diaper isle. It looks like a pad, fits inside the diaper to add to the absorbtion. We had the same problem with out little one and this is what saved our sheets. They run apx $3 for a pack with is close to the same size as a pack of diapers and they last forever since you only use them at night.
I had your exact problem with my son. I was letting him have WAY too much liquids to drink throughout the day. Cut back and see if the problem stops.
Hey S. i was wondering what type of diapers do use .... i am only asking because my second son who is 2 1/2 now did the same thing and the expensive diapers like pampers and huggies he would pee thru .. so i switched to luvs but i didnt like the smell they have, so i started using White Cloud .. I can only find them at Walmart but i would swear by them ... and i use them for my 3 month old daughter and they r just as great .... i also found that not putting the diaper on very tight helped too ,, just putting it on snug ... and i also used a size bigger (only the next size up).. it seemed to help me i know what it is like changing a crib sheet ever morning it gets old quick ... also not that u dont but make sure he is always pointing down when u put his diaper on too ... because my son as he got older would put his hand down his diaper when he was sleeping like AL Bundy and when he took his hand out he pulled everything up w/ him and would pee put the top of the diaper instead of in it ,,, i hope that some of my advice helps ... Good Luck
I have an 11 month old baby boy. You have to make sure his pee pee is facing downward. I know it sounds dumb but are you doing that?
I have tried all the diapers out, and pampers is the only one that doesn't leak through. Are you giving him alot to drink before bed?
Well if your little guy stays at one end of his crib, there are sheet protectors that are designed for bed-wetters that wrap around the mattress on top of the sheet. I have them for my 4 year old on his bed but they also come in the sizes to fit cribs/toddler beds. I got ours at One Step Ahead/Leaps and Bounds. Hope this helps!
Have you tried using a diaper one size bigger? We did that and haven't had an issue since.
Hey S., I had the same problem with my son. Every time he went to sleep I knew I would be changing the sheets. You could try the rubber underwear. Also, try putting a cloth diaper under the disposable to aborb more of the urine. Hope this info helps. Good Luck!
I had this problem with my first son, and if it is the same circumstance it is easy to fix. When you put his diaper on make sure his weenie is pointing down. I did not know this with my first born and it took my mother in law ( who raised 8 boys) to teach me this, because he was peeing up his diaper. I hope this helps you.
What kind of diapers are you using?
Have you tried using a larger diaper at night? I had to do that with my boy. The diaper doublers are a good idea too. Also, if you go to bed later than he does, see if you can change him right before you go to bed. He might wake a little and be able to be soothed back to sleep. Or he might wake all the way and not really be a good idea, but it might be worth a try.
My son had the same problem. I was told to make sure his weinee was always pushed downward when you put the diaper on. Anytime it was left pointed up a little he would always pee out of the top. I also used Luvs diapers and they seemed to work the best for him. You might try those and see if it helps you at all. Good luck!
I think I have the solution! My son was doing the same thing. Publix sells something called "Diaper Doublers" they are a pack of 30 for $2.99. They look like huge maxi pads and you just line the diaper at night. I buy one-size-up diapers to use at night along with the liners and I have not had a problem since. So basically it's a cost of $3 a month. Well worth the money!!! ~ T.
I know this may sound weird, but my son pee's alot also. I went up a size in diapers. Try the next size up at night you might be suprised to see that they hold a lot more and you wont have to change the sheets as much. You can also try putting dowm a large changing pad- They sell them in a variety of sizes but their is one that is pretty large and will soak up most of the pee and then you dont have to change the sheets just the pad. The ones that i bought came from Gerber and had 2 inside.
I agree with all the moms about trying different brands and the next size up. Also, I have heard of a diaper called Huggies Overnites. They come in sizes 3,4,5(I just checked the website), but I am not sure who carries them. I've never seen them(but never looked hard for them either). Hope you can find them. I heard they work like wonders!
