Personalized Name Stickers...

Anyone know of a website that is legit and sells name stickers? I want very simple one's like 'R.' or 'Amanda'...

Quite honestly, I'm specifically looking for them so I can slap them on lighters as part of a Christmas gift to my BFF because her husband is the notorious 'lighter thief'... can't find your lighter? HE HAS IT. If he denies it, tell him to empty his pockets, it's there ;)

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

@Purple mom, sharpie comes off from the oils in your hands... figured that out last year after I painstakingly wrote her name on 10 lighters for her birthday, LOL!!

I just order the Vista Print Address labels.. The clear ones with black ink.. I then use them on our Ice chests, dishes, etc.that I I take to parties or events., whatever It was to make sure I get the items back.

For our floral business we had our Business Name, phone number and email placed on them so people could call us to pick up vases, bowls etc..

Stickers are a good idea (mypreciouskid.com has some) but I have a better idea! I used this on my kids all the time because they'll claim something is/isn't theirs, or kids at school would take their stuff, etc. Scratch her name, design or something unique into it somewhere not immediately visible - then when he claims he doesn't have it, you can point out her name, etc., is right there. You can also put a dot of nail polish somewhere, use a Sharpie marker and mark it somewhere. If he's a typical male, he won't even notice. Trust me, it works!!! Good luck!

Love Mabels Labels! They stick to anything and are tough- they survive the dishwasher without fading. As a bonus, your friend could use them on all sorts of plasticware and always get it back.

Oh, and if you go the print your own route- there's two types paper and polycarbonate (Avery Weatherbeater). The paper will not hold up to the abrasiveness inside pockets and the dampness from sweat. A pack of the polycarbonate are more expensive than the Mabel's route.

I second Mabel's Labels (mabelslabels.com). They're great for sticking on everything. If the items are small, get her some tag mates that she can put on every new lighter. They're probably the perfect size for the bottom where he might not even notice. (Sneaky, sneaky!) I put the tag mates on all sorts of things, like my DD's dinosaurs.

Do you have Windows on your computer?
You can make labels that way and just buy the sheets that you can print out.
In California, we have Kinko's that will let you use their comuputers for such things. They even have the blank labels I believe.
The cost is minimal.
I would try a stationary or copy store as opposed to going online.

At work, I whip up different labels and stickers all the time. For business purposes.
You should be able to find someone locally to help you out.

You can buy packs of blank labels . Dymo sells hand held label makers that you can change fonts, etc. The labels print right out.
Again...an office supply store could help you.

Best wishes.
