Michael's... maybe??? Might contact Linen's and Things to see if they have any discounted white pillow cases...
Where can I find white pillow cases in the North Dallas/Plano area in bulk for my daughter's slumber party? We will be decorating them and have each girl autographing them as party favors.
Thanks for all the ideas! I found free shipping and a reasonable price at Oriental Trading Company for the pillowcases (6 for about $20.00).

H.,
We did a tye-dye pillow case for my daughters birthday party and I picked them up at Walmart set of 2 for $4.88, I think. They were good and sturdy and soft.

Hi H.:
IKEA has very reasonable pillow cases.
I have been a summer camp director in the past and we did pillow cases every summer. The best I found was Wal-Mart. I usually had to go to several but I doubt your slumber party will be that big! Good luck!
I am not sure how crafty you are but I did this for my daughters 5th bday a few years ago. I couldn't find the color I wanted to I used my existing pillow case as a pattern and bought the fabric I wanted and made them myself. I ended up only needing like 2 yards of fabric and made 12 pillowcases! I think I would also check Ross or TJMaxx. Good luck!!
You might check IKEA. I got white towels there for my daughter's swim party last year. I haven't actually looked for pillow cases, but they do seem to have everything,
I'm not sure about the North Dallas/Plano area (unless some of the craft stores sell them). If you don't mind going to Allen, I think that perhaps the outlet mall might have some. There is a sheet store there that you might be able to find the pillowcases at. Another thought would be to go to places like Big Lots, Tuesday Morning, Dollar General or Family Dollar. It's probably hit or miss if they have anything. But if they do, they should be fairly inexpensive. Another thought is Anna's Linnens in Addison (on Montfort north of Beltline).
I'm not sure where to find them, but I'm going to check back for any responses here ~ but I just wanted to tell you that's a GREAT Idea!!! :) I'll keep this one in mind.
If you are looking to save money, try going to Big Lots. I have gotten white pillow cases there for craft projects. They usually come 2 in a package for around $3.00. And it works out that they are a lower thread count (200 or 250) because it is easier to draw or paint on them than a pillowcase with a higher thread count.
Hi H....sounds like a great party favor and activity for the girls.
I haven't had much luck finding inexpensive pillowcases here in Allen. I think Big Lots had pretty good prices, but mostly light blues, pinks and greens when I went there (last summer). The outlet mall in Allen closed the big linen store that used to sell discounted linens, so you can skip that stop. I was thinking you should try ebay or Overstock.com. I would also look again at Big Lots, Sam's and Costco.
Good luck on your mission!
We did this a few years ago for my littlest one and I don't know how many you are purchasing but I found that Walmart had the cheapest price. I think it was like $1 a case. Good luck.

Michaels has them for $1 each....
I get them from American Pillowcase. They are cheap and shipping is fast :) They tie-dye beautifully!
