Play Groups

I don't know what part of Tampa you're in but I highly reccomend going to momsclub.org to see if there is one in your area. I belong to the South Tampa chapter and it's only $20/ year. Playgroups are a big part but we do so much more, like MOMS night out, community service projects, picnics, cooking club and various other activities with our children. I know there's also a chapter in Carrolwood and Westchase. Good luck to you. Please contact me if you have any questions.

I'm a member of North Tampa Mothers and More. It's $45 a year. They have by far more activities than other groups I've been involved with. They also have the most members which makes playgroups and events more fun.

I am a certified instructor with Music with Mar. and we have fun, interactive music and movement classes throughout the community for ages 0-6. Classes do not teach music, but use music to teach basic developmental skills. Prices are per family, not per child! For a schedule and for more info, check out www.musicwithmar.com. There is a Clearwater mom's club that costs about $20 and you are invited to many playgroups and activities throughout the month that are age appropriate for your child. I would see if there is one in Tampa. Also, I know our church has a mom's group. I belong to Espiritu Santos in Safety Harbor. The group meets with children every other Fri begining in Sept. Then we hae activities throughout the year. Hope this helps. D.
