I am a mother of a 2 and a half year old as well as a 10 month old. I am looking for playgroups in the area and I do not know where to start! I work from home and also am home with my kids all day so I miss talking to other adults and would like having my children be around other children! If anyone could help that would be great!!!!
There is a great mom's group in Katy called Moms of Katy Texas. The group is mixed with stay at home moms, work at home moms, and work out of the home moms. It's very active. Here is the link to the page: http://www.mktx.org/

This is an international support club for stay at home moms. Check for a group in your area of town. I've belonged to my local group for six years and have made lots of friends for myself and my kids.
