I dont know about anyone else but if you use EPT I dont like them I got 3 negative results when I was prego with my first. I will only use First Responce. Other than that I have no idea or advise on depo....I never used it. Im sorry. I wish you the best of luck

Likely it is a hormonal adjustment. Prolactemia in non pregnent people can be a sign of high prolactin levels in your body (one of your hormones). However I am not a doctor and would strongly recommend you go see yours. Your doctor can do a blood pregnancy test as well as other tests to see if something else is going on.

It might be hormonal adjustments for being off the depo. Generally, your OB will have you come in for a pregnancy test about 3 months after you think your period stopped. Also, it's fairly common for at-home pregnancy tests to be incorrect. For some women, the at-home tests are never going to come out correct.

I suggest going into see your OB in October, 3 months after July, for a pregnancy test just to be sure. If you still do not have your period regularly after that much time and you are not pregnant, then something else may be wrong. The doctor should be looking into that as well.

it takes a long time to get your body back to normal after depo. i was on it for 5 yrs. i stopped it around xmas, got a period every month since may. they have not been regular other than getting them every month, and i have had spotting even after the period is over. i have bad hormone fluctions while i'm on my period- i've felt like i've had the flu a few times. it takes up to a year or year and a half to regulate itself again according to my doc, no matterhow long you took it for. hope this helps...but still i would call my doc just in case!

Call your doctor, speak with the nurse. Tell them you would like a blood test specifically, not a pee test. My friend had the same problem and when she did make an appointment they gave her another pee test!!! (Thanks, just took an EPT test and now I have to pay a lab fee for the same results!) My friend did get the blood test eventually and it was negative so the doctor did another panel to check her thyroid and other possibilities. Turns out she did have a health issue. Better safe than sorry, go get a blood test.

I'm a little confused. ARe you breastfeeding? When did you start with the breastmilk? When in doubt, call your doctors office. Describe to them what is going on. They can suggest a blood pregnancy test if they feel it sounds like you could be pregnant. Good luck!

I think this is your body responding to going off depo. Since depo tricks your body into thinking it's in menopause (that's how it was explained to me) it makes sense that wierd things happen when it's finding its way back to normal.

You might want to have your doctor order a blood test to check for pregnancy. I too had 2 inconclusive pregnancy tests...but had other symptoms that prompted me to call my doctor and sure enough - I was pregnant.

The long time effects of getting Depo has your hormones screwed up. Give your body time to get back to normal and if you have any signs of heavy bleeding see your Doctor right away.
