Hi all,
Currently searching for a preschool in the Glen Ellyn/Lisle/Downers Grove area that will take kids who are 2 and not potty trained yet. Also, I would like to find an organization that is not church-affiliated (optimally, but not a neccesity). Thanks in advance!

This is completely off the top of my head, but I believe the YMCA in Downers Grove has preschool classes for kids 2 and up. I am not positive on this so I advise checking it out first.Good luck.

This is the # for the Wheaton/Glen Ellyn home daycare association. It is a non-profit, informal group of licensend, in-home daycare and pre-school givers in the Wheaton and Glen Ellyn areas. If you call, the volunteer will ask you a few questions about what you're seeking and then (hopefully) give you some referrals. I used them to find a daycare for my son. While I opted not to go that route, the service gave me 5 names for my very strict requirements, all within a very close geography.
Hope this helps.

Currently my daughter attends the Green Acres Montessori school in Woodridge. They accept 2 year olds and here's the best part, they will help potty train and get the parents involved with the childs schedule. If you are interested, give them a call at 630.96.5496 and ask for Dolores. She runs the school out of her home but has a "school setting" atmosphere in the lower level of her home. Teachers are wonderful as well as the children. Good luck!
I would check out the College of DuPage demonstration center, in Glen Ellyn. It is great.
