Preschool Sports Programs--South Metro

I'm looking for soccer and/or t-ball in the south metro, for preschoolers. All the ones I can find through the city or the parks are K and up. My son turned 4 in February. Does anybody know of soccer or baseball programs that have beginners' programs for kids that young? I live in southwest Bloomington, so ideally somewhere in the southwest metro. Thanks in advance! :)

What can I do next?

It is kinda far, but I know West St Paul starts t-ball and soccer for pre-K. The info is on page "21" or 5 of 11.

Try the YMCA that's the ONLY only only only place I could find soccer, teeball for my daughter last summer when she was 4. Now that she's older I've been able to find a bit more. There's a YMCA in Edina and Burnsville pretty much all over. We were memebers at the Burnsville location and she did swim lessons, tumbling, teeball etc... It's only like 10 dollars more if your not a member not a big deal. That's what we started with and it was a nice easy transition for such young ages. For teeball they only play 3 innings and everyone gets a turn to bat there's no outs. And trust me 3 innings was plenty they can't handle to much more.

You might want to try the YMCA - I know there's t-ball and soccer for 4-5 year old preschoolers at the Y in the Burnsville area. The Lakeville Soccer Club has a soccer tot program for 4-5 year olds too (I've enrolled my 5 year old in that one).

Good luck!

I agree with the last poster, I just signed my 3yr old up for soccer at the YMCA in Edina. They have Saturday practices starting in Mid-May. YMCA members are $28, Program participants are $37, they go through June 16. No soccer on Memorial weekend. I'm not sure about any T-Ball program anywhere.

I know the Southdale Y has programs for preschoolers starting as young as 3. If you are willing to drive a little bit there are great soccer programs at Corner Kick Indoor Soccer in Maplewood (programs start at 18 months with parent and on up...4 yo don't need a parent present but you are welcome to stay).
