Hi Moms,

I'm in need of tea cups for my little girl's party on Saturday. I've shopped around everywhere and I didn't think tea cups would be this hard to locate. I've searched Goodwill and I didn't have any luck.

I don't want anything to expensive b/c the tea cups will be use by 3-4yr olds.

I know this is last minute...creative ideas in place of tea cups are welcomed too.

TIA!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I got lucky today at Ross and found tea pots and other accessories to complete the party decorations. Thanks so much!

JeCookie, I left you a personal message but I'm also just seeing your orginal post. I wasn't aware you needed teacups for this Saturday. Check TJ Maxx, I just saw some there for 14.99 but they are really small cups/saucers. Let me know how your tea party turn out.

Have you tried a restaurant supply store? I think that there's one called ACE in Garland near Beltline and Jupiter.

I'm not sure if you have everything else in place but I know of a great party rental. We are doing a tea party in March and I'm using Simply Pretend. She provides dresses and tea cups, silver plated tea pot and tray and so much more. She has pretty much anything you would need. You may be able to just rent from her. She is in Allen. Let her know that I sent you.

I just found this site. (april 11, 2010) I helped with a Princess tea Party @ my church & we used punch bowl cups. They are clear & a little thicker than tea cups. And the Princess Punch was beautiful in them. And the little "Princesses" thought they were special drinking out of them. In fact the whole Princess tea Party was wonderful!!!! They all had a great time!!! It was worth all the labor involved in preparing for the tea party.
