My son eats less than 10 foods, and minimal protein. Can anyone suggest a protein supplement to make shakes or smoothies out of? What about whey protein powder?

I put whey protein in oatmeal, pancakes and smoothies. It's not as grainy as rice protein.
Hi M.,
I know how you feel. My granddaughter was a picky eater and still has issues with vegetables. I found a great meal replacement and some wholefood supplements I add to her food that will replace what she is not getting from the food she eats.
If you are interested let me know and I will help set up a program for your little one.
Have a happy and safe holiday.

NO specific brand, but I recommend Rice Protein. Soy is bad because it affects hormones and can cause allergy, whey is highly allergenic too. Also, check out Salba seeds. You can check their website @ http://www.sourcesalba.com/research-on-salba.php
They are rich in protein, calcium, omega-3 etc. You should be able to find them at any health food store. You can sprinkle them on yogurt or in a smoothie.
Good luck!
How about putting yoghurt or kefir in a smoothie? You can also put an egg yolk in.
Protein powders can be denatured in the processing. Not that I wouldn't use it if there was no other alternative, but a whole food would be my first choice.
Nourishing Traditions has good recipes.
my kids have this problem too so i began giving them those pediasure drinks, but the generic brand from walmart. they love them and full of nutrition
