We are having some issues with our current pediatrician and wanted to know if anyone has some recommendations for a pediatrician in the Cranberry/Mars area. If anyone has any recommendations - I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!

I love my ped. Dr. Larry Butler at Children's Community Pediatrics Wexford. I'm not sure why, but there is never a long wait. The staff is friendly and this Doc is awesome. I can always get same day appts as well.

Cindy,

If you're willing to travel to Wexford, I recommend Dr. Doug Stewart at Children's Community Pediatrics. They're located just behind the Baierl car dealerships on route 19.

Dr. Stewart has seen my son (20 months) since birth, and is fantastic. He takes a LOT of time with you, and is so interested in your child's development. He remembers the smallest detail about my son from visit to visit - I'm always so impressed by that. He also listens to our questions and concerns, and was very supportive in referring my son to an ENT specialist when he needed ear tubes.

We've visited several other doctors in his office for sick visits, and have had no issues with them. The office is large, clean, and friendly.

Good luck in your search!

Hi Cindy,

We use Dr Howard Scott and Christiana Morganti on Rt 288 - right behind Siba. We are happy with them.

I totally agree with Kelly B on having to ask a lot of questions with Dr.Scott. I personally specifically ask for Dr.Morganti when I schedule appointments. There have been a few times when that wasn't possible and I've left the office confused, unsure and disappointed.

I also go to Scott and Morganti, and they are great - but you have to ask a lot of questions at the well check ups, not a lot volunteered. I have heard great things about Dr. Huew as well in Cranberry.

I've heard two good things (from friends) and one not-so-great thing (from an internet person) about Pediatrics Alliance (I think is the name). The friends use Dr. Donnelly (sp?). Good luck!
