Anyone have any suggestions for restaurants open on Thanksgiving day? We've always gone to Maggiano's for there Turkey day dinner. But wanted to try something different this year. Just not sure who is open. We live in allen and are willing to travel all over the metroplex.

I would try benihanas and those types. we did it last year and it was really good. we did have to make reservations as it was full.
I hop is open on thanksgiving, or was several yrs ago when we had to move the day after thanks giving

I'm pretty sure Luby's is open on Thanksgiving.
I know this is non-traditional... but Chinese Restaurants are always open... on our Holidays.
Also, some restaurants, or even grocery stores like Safeway (in my area), have Thanksgiving Day take out meals... and its good.
Try checking your grocery stores...
We went to Maguires in North Dallas a few Thanksgivings ago. We had never been there before but it was the only place we could get a last minute reservation. We were a bit concerned that we could get in (thinking maybe there was something wrong with the restaurant), but the dinner was really, really good! My daughter was three or four at the time and kids under 5 are free. It is a little pricier than some places, but if price isn't an issue, I highly recommend it.
