Hi, I have taken my son to Chuckie Cheese in Warwick which I found absolutely disgusting...then this past Sunday I took him to Fantasyland in Seekonk even MORE disgusting then Chuckie Cheese...children throwing up all over the place, children running around like nuts..rough housing, it was terrible. Where can I take my son that is clean and has normal people. I am trying Absolute Fun Center in Cranston Friday.

Hi - A little late to the party but figured I'd add my 2 cents... 2 new inside play centers just opened recently; KidzWurld in North Attleboro (off exit 5 and to the right)and Johnston Learn & Play Center. I have heard nothing but good things about KidzWurld; clean, fun, geared for 5 and under which is awesome, and a great mom perk - they serve coffee!! I took my 23 month old to Johnston - clean area and fun toys; pricing is a little crazy and we were the only ones there for the first 30 minutes. Another place I love to take my son in the colder weather is the Federal Hill House in Providence; definitely a "don't judge a book by it's cover" location.

I run a Mom and Toddler group on Meetup (Toddling with Mom). We are always looking for new places to try. Some others around the area are Easton Children's Museum, Barnes and Noble in Smithfield, and some of the local toy shops (Learn All About It, Warwick and Sparks in Smithfield).

Hi,
Kidz Kastle by the Warwick Mall is nice. Prov. Childrens Museum is also nice. I'm going to try Absolute fun center as well. Hope it's a good time. The book stores ususally have train tables and story hour. Hope it helps! I know being in the house is hard in the winter. We're feeling it too!

If I can never go to Chuck E Cheese in Warwick again I will be a happy woman!

I went to Kidz Kastle for the first time 2 weeks ago and every time there was no customer at the front she was cleaning something. I liked that. Pricey, but nice.

I think you will like absolute fun. It's new and clean. There is another new place called Kids Kastle in Warwick sort of behind Ross Simons. It's also new and clean, but I'm not sure that their activities take into consideration germaphobes like me. For example they have Karaeoke (sp?) and I saw all the kids coughing all over the microphone and passing it from one to another.
Barnes and Noble in Warwick has a train table.
Wright's Dairy farm is a bit far but it has cows for the kids to look at and a great bakery.
Any of the libraries have story times which can be fun.
Bellani Maternity on Rt 2 has playgroups and classes and is immaculate.
Also, on Plainfield Pike in Johnston there are several farms that have different activities for kids - like feeding the animals. Good luck!

I love taking my girls to Kids Kastle in Warwick, on back side of Warwick Mall. Clean play area for creative play, small area for really little ones and even stuff for slightly older children - video gaming stations and indoor basketball. Really clean, everyone has to take shoes off - even the adults. You only pay for children and has good hours during the week. I'm pretty sure they have a website with all the info.
