Safety Pins - Pin the corners of the sheets to the mattress between the bed and the box spring. (In case one pops open, you won't get stabbed:-) )
Normally, I wouldn't post a second time, but I'm still having problems, and I wanted my question recirculated:
This is not a crucial baby request!! lol Just a question for a major annoyance.
I have a queen size mattress and the fitted sheets (which are queen as well) keep pulling up, off the mattress during sleep. I have taken advice and purchased those sheet straps. Those don't work!! Instead, in the middle of the night, they pop off hitting the wall and scaring the bejesus out of my husband, or slapping me in the face!
OOOOHHHHH darn these dastardly sheets! At any rate, do you have any further suggestions? I have thought about getting Full sheets and seeing if they would fit tighter, or velcro has passed my mind!!!

M.,
Have you tried buying the extra Deep Pocket sheets. I have purchased mine at ShopKO. They work well on our queen bed.
thanks for the laughs. My husband and I experienced the same thing before we found the deep pocket sheets.

Hi Melissa,
Find the sheets with the deeper pockets. They solved my problem with the sheets coming off in the night.

the velco sound like a good idea you could get those long iron on stips from craft stores and they are washable so that might work
It's all about the sheets you buy. I have a pillow top mattress and the pockets are deep. You have to buy sheets with a minimum thread count of 400. The better sheets you buy the nicer they will fit. I bought some 1000 count sheets on amazon and it's like sleeping in heaven. My mom has always boughten sheets with a thread count of 600 or greater. SHe has always told me how much nicer they are but I never wanted to spend the extra money. WEll let me tell you I no longer have my sheets pulling up on me anymore.
Lemme get this right, you have two small kids sleeping through the night and the thing that keeps you up at night is bed linens???? That would be so annoying!! :) You have to get the ones with extra deep pockets. It should say it on the package. Good luck, you deserve a good nights sleep.
Sheet clips!! They have them at Bed Bath & Beyond (at least that's where I got mine several years ago). They come in a pack of 4 and they clip onto the mattress and hold the fitted sheet on. I went crazy w/ the sheets always coming off my pillow top mattress and then I found the clips. I have never had a problem w/ them coming off---they are tubes w/ a slit that slide onto the rolled part of the mattress and stay on tight.
Hi M.
the only advice I have for you is to buy a different brand of sheets. the hanse t-shirt ones work well for our queen size bed the cheap walmart brand do not fit well at all. I also would look for deep pocket sheets they will stay better also. I also wanted to mention if you use full size sheets you will have more problems because the problem is the shhets are to small good luck and sorry i dont have a magical cheap answer
Try getting deep pocket sheets with the elastic all the way around the whole fitted sheet not just at the corners. I buy a lot of our sheets on smartbargains.com and overstock.com not that you asked but they have good prices. Good luck!

Hi Mellissa!
I don't have any answers for you.
I had to tell you you made me laugh!
I read your request and all I could picture were these straps flying around the room! LOL!! That is just precious!
Good luck and thank for the smile!

I do think they sell sheets with deeper pockets because the newer mattresses are thicker now. You might need to spend a little more $ on them, but it would be worth it to get a better fit. Good luck!
