Hi. I am looking for a new hairdresser. If you go to one that is good and somewhat reasonable, please give me details. I have short hair, get a cut every 4 weeks and color every 3 months.
I thought I had a good one... been going there for 4 years now... but this last visit... well, let's just say he knew I was getting my color done for a very special event and I hate it! Love the dark brown but the blonde highlights are lost in it.

I did call mine who really messed up my color and he has agreed to fix it so I will be going in tomorrow after work. This color goof of his was the last straw for me. He has always done what he wanted whether I liked it or not and I specifically told him this time, I wanted the blonde highlights to show against the brown and he just sort of made them blend in and it did not look good... it is like the brown has taken over the blonde. I felt frumpy. I do have to say though that he gives a good cut but is a bit pricey.
Anyway, I am checking all your suggestions... and I appreciate everyone's input.

She is always going to the top salons (like Vidal Sassoon) all over the world for classes. She is my only extravagance and is worth EVERY penny! I highly recommend Chris Westerlund who works at Belle DeJour Salon in Old Fair Oaks. I have been going to her for over ten years and have followed her when she changed salons. She is the best colorist. Her rates are very reasonable as well. Her number is ###-###-####.
