Look into the Minirth Clinic in Richardson: http://www.minirthclinic.com/. I've never used their services personally, but Dr. Frank Minirth is a good man.
My son's grades have dropped. He has no social life or friends. His teachers have expressed concern about behavior and grades. Can someone recommend a doctor who can help. I prefer North Dallas, Medical City, Presby, Downtown area, but will drive for the right professional.

Our 17 year old has been seeing Dr. Sarah Nuche for almost 2 years. She's a psychologist and is, by far, the BEST we've ever seen. She's at LBJ and Hillcrest. Her # is ###-###-####. Best of luck to you and your son.
My son is 13 and has been going to see Jeff Fletcher for 2 years. He is great. He has also seen 2 of my other children a couple of times. He is awesome with that age group. I HIGHLY recomend him. His is in Richardson. We drive from the Garland (almost Mesquite) to see him. He has a way of being able to connect with the kids listening to and even playing music and cards. My son loves him. His number is ###-###-####
I have spent over 4 years trying to help my son. The BEST resources that I have found have been:
Child Study Center - though there is a wait to get in

Sundance Center - http://www.sundancebhc.com/
BEST SCHOOL and summer camp environment - Fourth Street

After 6 different Psychiatry specialist the best I found was - Dr. Liverman ###-###-####
He took an HOUR with the family, then just my hubby and I, then my son. The doctor was GREAT!!!

I personally know how hard it is when you think your alone and don't have a good list of resources.
Good luck,

I work with a wonderful staff of therapists at Girls to Women Health and Wellness. The medical practice is geared toward girls, but the affiliates see boys and girls. Here a link to their info: http://gtw-health.com/programaffiliates/
Good luck to you!
