I'm 10 weeks pregnant with my 5th child. I have a 2 1/2 year old boy, a 1 year old girl, and 3 month old twin boys! I'm once again pregnant (for the last time) and I was just wanting to know if anyone could offer suggestions for names, either for a boy or a girl. Thank You!

What can I do next?

I have a 4 year old daughter, Madellyn Paige, and a 2 year old son, William Hayden, we call him Hayden. I love their names. I really like Gracie and Emma for a girl and for a boy I like Hunter and Luke.

Consider sticking with the traditional spelling of whatever name you choose. I heard about a study, years ago, that found children with unusual spellings of common first names, overall, had lower self esteem than their peers with typically spelled names. They didn't go into why this is true but I would guess it has something to do with always having to explain/ clairfy yourself.

It's hard to pick names for babies! But a good way I tried was going on babynames.com. From there, I went to the heritage I am and my husband is. I went down the list of names and clicked the ones I liked. I showed him the list of names and he put 2 together he really liked. We ended up with our Caelan Nelia. I never heard of either name, but I love them both!
Good Luck to you!

I love the name Jocelyn for a girl...and Bryce for a boy.
Pandora and Peyton for girls, too. Sebastain and Reid for boys, as well. Congrats and let us know what you chose!

Hi A.,

We've "talked" quite a bit, so first congratulations on your pregnancy and for making some big decisions!! Babynames.com might be really helpful, as the others have suggested. When I read through the list of your kids names, the first thing that came to mind was Jacob, for a boy, and Amanda or Sienna, for a girl. My boys are Matthew Douglas and Michael David. I'm sure you'll find just the right name for your baby. You might want to consider family names, like grandparents or a favorite aunt or uncle.

Good luck!! You're all in my prayers!!

I don't know if you like more unique names or traditional ones, but with my daughter I picked a unique one for her first name and then a family name for her middle name (Ashlyn Elizabeth). I would look on babynames.com or another baby name website - that is where I got the idea for Ashlyn's name - plus I think meaning of the name is important. Some names I love are Jaden for a boy and Madeline or Jordan for a girl. I wish you the best of luck!

wow - 16 years old and pregnant with your 5th child. I hope you have some help with your growing family.
I wish you the best.
As far as names- We never picked a name until the day of the birth. We could never agree on a name. But we chose these three names: Shelbi Nichole- Nichole after my sister, Alexander Dean- Dean after my husband, and Sophia Marie- after my great grandmaother and my middle name. And come to find out, I had a great grandfather named Alexander. So maybe do some research on both sides of the family and see if you find some names.

Wow, so A. you are pregnant again! Congrats though I do think birth control should be in your plan after this delivery. 16 is VERY young to have 5 children! But, I wish you well.
