If you have a Mandarin playgroup, Culture Cubs offers discounts on group orders of bilingual DVDs. You can see clips from the shows at [[http://www.culturecubs.com]]. They really are a fun way to keep children interested in learning.

If you are part of a Mandarin playgroup, Culture Cubs DVDs are a great resource. They're made by two mothers who wanted the shows for their own children and are very popular in Hong Kong. They offer discounts for group orders. www.culturecubs.com

Hi I.,

I know the Hollywood Montessori School teaches Mandarin Chinese to kids. The website is http://montessorihollywood.org/

There's also one on Vermont (owned by the same people), as well as Eagle Rock and Glendale, but I'm not sure if those have a Mandarin specialty.

Good luck!

Best,

A.

I know they teach Mandarin Chinese at the JCC (Jewish Community Center) in Silverlake. Perhaps they have a contact for you.

I would try Alhambra, San Gabriel, Rosemead, Monterey Park or Chinatown near downtown LA. The first 4 areas have a very high Chinese population - obviously so does china town.
