ADHD And ODD

My 5 year old was recently diagnosed with ADHD and ODD. i didnt want to put her on medications because she is only 5. The doctor recommended a book for us to use and try and well we have been doing all this for 3 years and the anger is getting worse. she can be a really sweet child but she has fits of rage that scare me to death. she doesnt listen at all to any one like teachers mom dad grandparents. i love this child but some days i feel like shipping her off to boarding school. i guess my question is has any one done the non med route?...

Cloth Diapering and Blow Outs

A friend gave me some cloth diapers to try out with my 7 month old (prefolds and thirsties covers) because I was having problems with blow-outs in disposables. My son is leaking out of the side leg holes when he poops in the cloth and though it is better than blowing up the back in disposables, I'd prefer no leakage at all. One More Poop up the Back and I'm Running Away from Home!

Hi Moms, I'm about to lose my mind! For the FOURTH time this week, my one-year-old daughter has pooped in her diaper and it has gone shooting up her back. She hasn't had any new foods for about 10 days and the consistency of the poop hasn't changed (sorry!). My first thought was that maybe her diaper is too small, but she's only 22.5 pounds and is wearing a size 5 diaper which is for 27+ pounds. Switched to Cloth Diapers and Now Has Diaper Rash.

This past Sunday we switched my daughter to Bum Genius 3.0 cloth diapers. We are using Seventh Generation detergent. She has developed a red diaper rash on her lips and in between her butt cheeks. I am unsure if it is just the detergent because it is not red everywhere the diaper is touching - any ideas/suggestions? Thank you for your help.

Infant Likes to Sleep on Tummy

Hey moms, I was wondering if I could get some feedback about letting a one month old sleep on his tummy. My first did well with being swaddled and sleeping on his back but this is my second and he really likes to sleep on his little tummy, he sleeps so much better!
