Seeking childcare-Midlothian/Waxahachie Area

I just recently started a new job in Waxahachie but live in the Mansfield area. I am thinking about switching my girls daycare so that they are a little closer to me or at least on my way. Also we are expecting #3 this summer so need to find child care for all 3 in August. Does anyone have any recommendations or warnings for daycares in the area. I have been looking at Midlothian or Waxahachie but may be leaning toward Midlothian since it is closer to my husband as well.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Your right I haven't been very impressed with the choices in Waxahachie. I found place that I liked but they didn't take infants.
They are in a daycare in Manfield now, but the reason we are trying to look elsewhere is because it is so expensive, they don't take infants and we live at the very southern end of Mansfield. Driving anywhere in Mansfield to drop them off is the opposite direction of me going to work. I think we have decided to look in Midlothian since it will be on my way but still close enough to home that my DH could pick them up as well. So any suggestions for Midlothian would be great.

Hi Jacyln!

Have you considered a nanny/baby-sitter which would actually come out cheaper than day care for 3 kids? Also, the personal care and home comfort...

I just started www.nannyharmony.com and would love to help with your child care needs! We offer child care matching (part time, overnight, FT, etc.) as well as House Cleaning at unbeatable quality and prices!!!

If you mention mamasource, I will offer extra discounts as we get grounded with mamasource moms!

Please feel free to call me at: ###-###-#### or email ____@____.com.

check us out at: www.nannyharmony.com for ideas and to try us out. I will love to personally help you find in-home care giver/nanny!

Most of the daycares in Waxahachie are church affiliated.
Cornerstone Christian Preschool is a good one, but they do not take infants. Age 18 mos and up.

Avoid Condor's Daycare.

Hello,

We are a new Center Opening in Cedarhill right off of Hwy 67 ..... Where Kidz Connect Academy ###-###-####. I believe we are about 10 minutes from Midlothian but convenient to Hwy 67 and downtown Cedarhill. My staff and I would love to meet with you and discuss your child care needs. I have one child after years of trying. She will be 2 in July. Visit our website if you or you know of anyone looking in our area. www.wherekidzconnect.com

Thanks,

I live in waxahachie and work in arlington - I am moving my son to Primrose School (off Matlock) in mansfield- not really a lot of options for daycare in Waxahachie - there is one at Waxahachie Bibly Church - not too impressed with that one (that's why I'm moving)I have a friend at First Baptist Daycare in Midlothian and she really likes it... I would look in Midlothian - they seem to offer better care... or if Mansfield is an option I would look there - lots of great facilities. Hope this helps!
ps - I just notices you were a teacher - I heard WISD has their own daycare for teachers etc.
